Abstract

Electronic modules are one of the learning resources by technological developments. This research aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning-based GeoGebra e-module to improve students' low mathematical spatial ability. The type of research used is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The instruments used were spatial ability test sheets, questionnaires, and interviews. Data collection uses spatial ability tests, field notes, and interviews. The development of the e-module was carried out with the Canva application which is integrated with GeoGebra and Youtube on prism space building materials. The validation of the e-module is carried out by the mathematics teacher as the validator of the material expert and the ICT teacher as the validator of the media expert. The e-module trial was conducted on 38 students of one of the junior high schools in Garut Regency in the 2024/2025 school year who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the GeoGebra e-module with a feasible category based on the validity aspect through the test of media experts and material experts with a percentage of 81%, the practical aspect through a student response questionnaire with a percentage of 85% and the teacher's response with a percentage of 83%, and the effectiveness aspect based on the test results as many as 80% of students have met the KKM score. Therefore, the PBL-based GeoGebra e-module is feasible to use and can improve the spatial mathematical ability of junior high school students in spatial building materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas modul pembelajaran berbasis media teknologi informasi dalam materi Barisan dan Deret untuk siswa kelas X di SMA YASTIC Karangtengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas X sebanyak 30 orang sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes pemahaman sebelum dan setelah penggunaan modul, serta kuesioner motivasi belajar. Analisis data dilakukan secara statistik dengan membandingkan rata-rata nilai pre-test yang sebesar 65 meningkat menjadi 85 pada post-test, serta menganalisis skor motivasi siswa yang mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 35%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media IT membuat proses belajar lebih menarik dan menyenangkan, serta meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi secara signifikan. Sebanyak 80% siswa mengalami peningkatan nilai yang cukup significan, dan 90% merasa lebih termotivasi dan percaya diri saat menggunakan media interaktif tersebut. Kesimpulannya, modul berbasis media IT ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Barisan dan Deret.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop teachers’ abilities in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning. The activity was conducted at SMK Al-Hikmah on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, and was attended by 23 teachers from various subject areas. The implementation method took the form of an interactive workshop that included material presentations, discussions, hands-on practice, and a post-test. The evaluation results showed an average score of 90.87, a median of 95, and a score range of 65–100. This indicates that most teachers have understood the basic concepts of AI, recognized its ethical implications, and demonstrated the ability to implement the technology in teaching. The high achievement of participants reflects the great potential of AI in supporting adaptive learning and personalized instruction, although a small number of teachers still require additional assistance in technical aspects. This training emphasizes that AI integration is not a replacement for the teacher’s role, but rather a reinforcement of the teacher’s function as a facilitator and learning guide. The outcomes of this activity can serve as a foundation for follow-up mentoring programs and teacher capacity development in addressing the challenges of 21st-century education.
