Abstract

One of the tourist attractions on the island of Bali is the Gelar River tourist site, located in Palunganbatu Hamlet, Batuagung Village, Jembrana District, Jembrana Regency, Bali Province. The Gelar River tourist site in Jembrana Regency or the West Bali region is not yet well-known among domestic and international tourists. However, it is quite popular among local tourists as it offers beautiful and captivating river scenery, making it an attractive place to visit. In this digital era, the use of innovative technology has become an effective strategy for attracting tourists. One technology with great potential to enhance tourist appeal is Augmented Reality (AR). So far, the packaging of tourism packages/products at the Gelar River Tourist Site has remained traditional, relying only on natural beauty and the construction of supporting facilities. No efforts have been made to enhance tourist attraction by improving how tourism products are packaged. The implementation of the Beginner Community Service activity with the topic "Optimization of Tourist Attraction with Augmented Reality Technology at the Gelar River Tourist Site in Jembrana" is divided into several stages, including problem identification, activity implementation, program assistance, and monitoring and evaluation. Overall, the implementation of this Beginner Community Service activity went according to plan, as evidenced by the results of partner questionnaires, where participants expressed satisfaction with the execution of this program.
