Abstract

The purpose of this study was to synthesize research results with the topic of community-based community empowerment in Indonesia using the Scopus database. The method used is a semi-systematic literature review (SSLR). Semi-systematic analysis shows that there are two main themes, namely the identification of scientific journals that contain articles on the topic of community-based community empowerment in Indonesia and the phenomenon of community-based community empowerment in Indonesia from previous studies. The findings in this study are publications on the topic of community-based community empowerment in Indonesia, the phenomenon of community-based community empowerment in Indonesia still can be explored more deeply considering the surge in articles related to this topic in 2020; Community empowerment is one of the strategies to reduce poverty in Indonesia. As a coping strategy, community empowerment is also provided with related regulations. The National Program for Independent Community Empowerment, empowerment of microfinance institutions (LKM), and micro-credit schemes and tourist villages are examples of the application of the concept of community empowerment in Indonesia, but the application still requires some improvements, for example by considering social capital such as local institutions, local wisdom Local customs, norms, and customs as an effort to apply the concept of community empowerment are getting closer to the main goal, namely reducing poverty and improving community welfare.

Abstract

Countries all over the globe are facing climate change. Global warming is a real problem that occurs and affects food production.  Precipitation and temperature rise are causes of the changes observed in this study. This study examines the relationship between food security level due to climate change. To provide further clarity, a systematic literature review (SLR) towards the impacts of climate change was conducted to identify the extent of its impacts on food security and to identify the extent of its impacts on the level of food security and research gaps. This systematic review identifies and analyzes documents on the impact of climate change on the level of food security in terms of the impact of climate change, the methods used to analyze climate change, and the available climate change adaptation policies. Following SLR guidelines, Google Scholar is the main database. This research can broaden our knowledge about the impacts of climate change and the role we can play in maintaining food security.

Abstract

Peningkatan emisi karbon dioksida (CO₂) menjadi isu krusial dalam konteks pembangunan berkelanjutan, terutama di negara agraris seperti Indonesia. Aktivitas pertanian yang semakin intensif berpotensi meningkatkan kontribusi sektor ini terhadap total emisi nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keterkaitan antara kegiatan produksi pertanian dan emisi karbon di Indonesia selama periode 1990–2022. Dengan menggunakan model ECM untuk melihat bagaiamana dampak dalam jangka panjang dan pendek. studi ini memanfaatkan variabel luas lahan pertanian, penggunaan pupuk, konsumsi bahan bakar, dan ternak sebagai faktor penjelas terhadap emisi CO₂. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka pendek memiliki kointegrasi atau terdapat hubungan penyesuaian dalam jangka pendek ke jangka panjang, adapun variabel yang berpengaruh dalam jangka pendek adalah jumlah ternak yang digunakan dalam pertanian. Sedangkan dalam jangka panjang terdapat pengaruh dari dua variabel yakni perluasan lahan pertanian dan juga ternak (livestock) berpengaruh positif terhadap emisi karbon (CO2). Oleh karena itu, strategi mitigasi perlu diarahkan pada efisiensi energi, inovasi teknologi ramah lingkungan, dan praktik pertanian rendah karbon sebagai bagian dari upaya mencapai ketahanan pangan berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The majority of the residents of Ngombakan Village are traditional alcohol craftsmen. The by-products of this production process result in waste that is harmful to the environment and is produced in significant volumes. The aim of this community service project is to reutilize the waste generated from alcohol production into valuable liquid organic fertilizer. The resulting fertilizer has been proven effective in enhancing the fertility of planting media, leading to faster germination and growth of seeds. The participants of the socialization event were 25 women from Kleco Hamlet. The community service activities included a socialization session on the production of liquid organic fertilizer, combining alcohol industry waste and household waste, and an introduction to its application on cocopeat planting media. This activity received positive responses from the participants, as indicated by their active questioning and willingness to participate in demonstrations. The outcome of this socialization was that the participants gained knowledge on the production of liquid organic fertilizer and its application in planting media in limited space.

Abstract

Kelompok perajin Batik Carica Lestari di Desa Talunombo menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pencatatan keuangan digital, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan regenerasi anggota karena kegiatan produksi lebih banyak ditopang oleh perajin berusia lanjut. Kondisi tersebut menyulitkan penelusuran transaksi serta pengelolaan informasi usaha secara tertib. Program pengabdian menawarkan penguatan literasi keuangan digital melalui pengenalan Sistem Informasi Aplikasi Pencatatan Informasi Keuangan (SIAPIK), diskusi pengelolaan usaha, praktik pencatatan, dan pendampingan awal. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan melibatkan perajin Batik Carica Lestari, generasi muda, dan Pemerintah Desa Talunombo. Pelaksanaan mencakup koordinasi dan pemetaan kebutuhan, sosialisasi melalui pemaparan materi, demonstrasi SIAPIK, praktik terbimbing, serta penyusunan rencana pemantauan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat mengakses aplikasi, mengenali fungsi dasarnya, dan mengikuti tahapan pencatatan transaksi dengan arahan fasilitator. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat mengakses SIAPIK, mengenali fungsi dasarnya, dan mengikuti latihan pencatatan transaksi dengan arahan fasilitator. Sosialisasi dan diskusi kelompok juga memberi kesempatan kepada peserta untuk membahas penerapan pencatatan digital dalam pengelolaan usaha batik. Pelaksanaan program didukung oleh Pemerintah Desa Talunombo dan melibatkan generasi muda dalam kegiatan sosialisasi serta praktik penggunaan aplikasi
