<![CDATA[Abstract kejatuhan ISIS setelah hancurnya benteng terakhir mereka di Suriah pada bulan maret 2019 yang lalu menyisakan banyak beban dan polemik. Salah satunya adalah pencabutan status kewarganegaraan. Hal ini yang dialami oleh keluarga tentara ISIS, banyak Negara asal dari keluarga tentara ISIS ini yang menolak kepulangan kembali mereka ke Negara asalnya. yang dimana walaupun tidak memiliki peran di organisasi terorisme tersebut, kewarganegaraan mereka tetap tidak dianggap sehingga status mereka menjadi stateless.Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian normatif untuk memahami serta mencari solusi yang tepat berdasarkan Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya peran nyata yang dilakukan oleh PBB sebagai perhimpunan besar seluruh negara serta tidak adanya kepastian hukum yang didapatkan oleh para keluarga tentara ISIS ini. Hal ini sangat disayangkan karena negara sebagai lembaga tertinggi yang dipercaya untuk melindungi hak-hak warga negaranya terlihat lepas tangan atas hal ini. Status stateless ini jelas merugikan dan membuat masa depan keluarga tentara ISIS ini menjadi tidak jelas. Negara-negara anggota PBB dapat melakukan proses peradilan yang adil sesuai dengan yang diatur di negara mereka masing-masing ataupun dengan menggunakan pengadilan HAM internasional atau bahkan menggunakan gabungan keduanya berupa hybrid court.Kata kunci : stateless keluarga tentara ISIS, peran Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Asas Kewarganegaraan dan Pertanggungjawaban Abstrak The fall of ISIS after the destruction of their last stronghold in Syria in March 2019 left a lot of burdens and polemics. One of them is the revocation of citizenship status. This is experienced by the families of ISIS soldiers, many countries of origin from these ISIS soldiers' families refuse to return them to their home countries. which even though they do not have a role in the terrorist organization, their citizenship is still not considered so that their status becomes stateless.The author uses normative research methods to understand and find the right solution based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The results of this study indicate that there is no real role played by the United Nations as a large association of all countries and there is no legal certainty obtained by the families of these ISIS soldiers. This is very unfortunate because the state as the highest institution that is trusted to protect the rights of its citizens seems to be hands off on this matter. This stateless status is clearly detrimental and makes the future of the ISIS soldier's family unclear. UN member states can carry out a fair judicial process in accordance with what is regulated in their respective countries or by using an international human rights court or even using a combination of the two in the form of a hybrid court.Keywords: stateless ISIS soldier family, role of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Principles of Citizenship and Accountability.]]>
