Abstract

Reproductive health has an important point in teenagers' lives but is often ignored. One of the impacts is experiencing sexually transmitted diseases. This triggers various serious health problems caused by teenagers' lack of knowledge about reproductive health. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between health promotion and the level of knowledge of adolescents about reproductive health. This research method is quantitative with a pre-experimental research design and a one-group pre-posttest design. The sample in this study was 60 respondents according to the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique in this research uses a non-probability sampling method with a proportional sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire sheet taken from (Septiana, 2019) a booklet about reproductive health. This research uses SPSS Test Analysis. The results and analysis of the research show that before the Health Education was carried out there were 57 people with a presentation (95%) with a poor level of knowledge, after being given Health Education there was a significant increase of 40 people with a presentation (67%) with a good level of knowledge. With the average value, P.Value = 0.001 <0.005, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Health Education and the level of knowledge of adolescents about reproductive health with a P-Value = 0.001.

Abstract

Choosing a contraceptive is one of the important decisions that a married couple must take. However, often this decision does not fully involve the husband, which can result in problems in communication and cooperation between the couple. In many cases, husbands are the main decision-makers, so their understanding and attitudes towards contraception greatly influence family decisions. Therefore, husbands usually have a dominant role in family decision-making, including in reproductive health matters. Research Objectives: To understand the description of husbands' knowledge and support for the use of contraceptives. This research method is quantitative research with an analytical descriptive research design. The sample in this study was 50 respondents according to the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique in this research uses a non-probability sampling method with a proportional sampling technique. The instrument used in this research uses a questionnaire sheet taken from (Noaritasari, 2018). This research uses SPSS Test Analysis. The results and analysis of the research showed that 47 people had presentations (94%). The level of knowledge was poor, and 3 people had sufficient knowledge with presentations (6%). Meanwhile, 30 people showed support from their husbands with presentations (60%), and 20 people did not support them with presentations (40%). So it can be concluded that husbands on average have less knowledge and do not support the use of contraception

Abstract

Premature infants are at high risk of experiencing physiological instability due to organ immaturity, especially in the regulation of body temperature, respiration, and the cardiovascular system. One of the main interventions in the care of premature infants is the use of an incubator. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of incubator use on the physiological stability of premature infants. The research method used was a quantitative study with an analytical observational design. The subjects were premature infants treated in the perinatology ward. The physiological parameters observed included body temperature, respiratory rate, and heart rate. The results showed that the use of an incubator significantly helped maintain the physiological stability of premature infants. Thus, an incubator is an effective and essential tool in the care of premature infants to improve physiological stability and prevent further complications.
