<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the dosage of coffee powder waste compost and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of red chili plants, as well as the interactions between the two treatments. This research was conducted at the Eastern Sector University Farm Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, and took place from December to May 2015. This study used a 3 x 4 factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications and each experimental unit was represented by 2 plants. The results showed that coffee powder waste compost had no significant effect on all observed parameters, namely plant height, stem diameter, number of branches, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight, fruit length, and fruit diameter. The growth and yield of red chili tended to be better in the treatment of coffee powder waste compost dose of 10 tonnes/ha. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis kompos limbah bubuk kopi dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah, serta interaksi antara kedua perlakuan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Peternakan Universitas Sektor Timur Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dan berlangsung dari bulan Desember sampai Mei 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial 3 x 4 dengan tiga ulangan dan setiap percobaan unit diwakili oleh 2 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompos limbah bubuk kopi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah cabang, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat buah per tanaman, berat buah, panjang buah, dan diameter buah. Pertumbuhan dan hasil cabai merah cenderung lebih baik pada perlakuan kompos limbah bubuk kopi dosis 10 ton/ha.]]>
