Abstract

The 3D animation industry continues to grow rapidly, but it is often hindered by the limitations of adequate computational resources. The rendering process, which converts 3D models into realistic images, requires significant computational power and often takes a long time. This study uses an experimental method to measure execution time during rendering with varying frame values. These variations are applied to each slave computer and compared to determine the speedup in execution time. Observations were made to understand the impact of changing frame values on rendering time. With the implementation of a render farm system, errors in the rendering process can automatically be re-submitted until completion, and utilizing multiple computational resources in parallel can speed up the rendering process. This makes the rendering process more efficient and helps complete animation projects more quickly. The system design process begins with a general observation, followed by software design, and concludes with the deployment of the render farm on the server. Parallel computer testing was carried out by synchronizing the time between the Master, Slave, and Client using network time protocols. The results of the tests indicate that the use of a render farm can significantly reduce rendering time, providing an efficient solution to overcome hardware limitations in 3D animation rendering.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a dictionary application that can translate Nias language based on Android and can be operated on a smartphone to assist in translating Indonesian into Nias language correctly. At the development stage, Rapid Application Development (RAD) is used. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Nias-Indonesian Dictionary application has a very impact and received a positive response from the surrounding community, especially among the people in the interior, because this is the first mobile-based application where the process of using it is simpler and more flexible. This system can be used as a medium of learning and communication for the surrounding community. So that the preservation of Nias language and culture is maintained.

Abstract

Android-Based Car Driving Simulation Application is an application used to obtain information about driving and caring for a car using smartphone support media. This is based on the increase in car accidents from year to year. The lack of information and the lack of knowledge of car drivers about driving information has made the author make a Car Driving Simulation application for the needs of visitors in using and accessing this application. Remembering technology is like a gadget that is no longer difficult to obtain, in fact it is possible for all people to have it. The application is designed with a smartphone that uses the Android operating system. Applications are made based on information needs for motorists. This application has gone through the stages of testing on four Android smartphone devices. This application is made using Phonegap with HTML and CSS programming languages and runs on the Kitkat version of the Android operating system as a minimum requirement.

Abstract

New student enrollment is a process that exists in government educational institutions such as schools to help screen prospective students and incoming students who are selected as students according to criteria set by the school. In general, the admission process for new students goes through the stages of registration, selection test, admission of students and students. In this study, the application to SMK Taruna Bakti Cikarang Selatan was done manually or by computer, but because Microsoft Office Excel was used, there was a lot of missing data and manual calculation of the test results could lead to errors. there is. The formulation of this research problem is how to create an information system for admission of new students in SMK Taruna Bakti Cikarang Selatan. The research methodologies used are Rapid Application Development (RAD), Observation, Analysis, Design, Testing, and Implementation. This new information system for student enrollment is written in the PHP programming language and uses a MySQL database as the database server. The outcome of this research is her web-based her first-year information that makes it easy for a prospective student and her first-year parent to obtain all information about her first-year and complete online registration system.
