Abstract

After receiving a prescription, it is the responsibility of a pharmacist to examine the prescription's administrative, pharmacological, and clinical components for completeness, suitability, and accuracy. This study aimed to examine the administrative, pharmacological, and clinical completeness of pediatric prescriptions at RSUD of Siwa pertinent to Minister of Health Regulation No. 72 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals. This research was conducted at RSUD of Siwa Hospital using descriptive quantitative methodology. During the period of October to December 2021, 104 pediatric prescription sheets were collected retrospectively using the approach of purposive sampling, and 51 prescription sheets matched the inclusion criteria and data processing was then performed based on the completeness of administrative aspect, the suitability of pharmaceutical aspect and the clinical aspect. The results obtained on administrative aspect were as comprehensive as 67.91%, pharmacological aspects as comprehensive as 80%, clinical aspect of the drug interaction component as complete as 45%, and dosage accuracy as complete as 31,38%.

Abstract

The implementation of pharmaceutical services in pharmacies must guarantee the availability of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and consumable medical materials that are safe, of good quality, useful and affordable. Therefore, pharmacists must understand and be aware of the possibility of errors in the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and consumable medical materials in pharmacies. This study aims to describe and evaluate the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and medical consumables at the Chrysto Pharmacy, Banggai Regency. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach using interviews, observation, and document review. The results of the study indicate that there are still several activities that have not been carried out, especially in planning activities that are still not optimal which results in frequent drug stock vacancies. In accordance with the standard regulations in Indonesia, namely the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 73 of 2016 and the 2019 Technical Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Pharmacies, the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and consumable medical materials at the Chrysto Pharmacy, Banggai Regency is in the good category with a percentage value of 66%.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical services, such as management including drug storage, must be considered because the treatment of various types of drugs or preparations is not the same. Drug storage is highly essential stage to maintain the quality of medicines, that drug storage must ensure the quality and safety of drugs in accordance with pharmaceutical requirements. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of drug storage at Pharmaceutical Installation of Andi Djemma Masamba Hospital, North Luwu Regency and its compliance with applicable regulations in Indonesia. This research conducted qualitative and quantitative methods. The informants in this study consisted of the Head of Pharmaceutical Installation, Accompanying Pharmacist, and Head of Pharmacy Installation Warehouse of Andi Djemma Masamba Hospital, North Luwu Regency. The data were collected from observation, in-depth interviews, and data analysis. Presentation of conformity regarding facilities and infrastructure was found 100%. Next, the presentation of the storage place of narcotics, psychotropic substances and precursors was classified 100%. However, the presentation of drug storage methods was 88.8% which confirmed drugs were not arranged based on therapy class. The percentage of high alert drug storage methods of 80% was identified not to use the tall man lettering method. at last, presentation of 100% stock card recording has been performed on every drug mutation process.

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension sufferers in Indonesia and even in the world continues to increase, causing an crease in the number of prescriptions for antihypertensive meds in hospitals and also the possibility of an increase in errors in prescribing antihypertensive cure This study aims to examine the completeness of antihypertensive as medicine prescriptions including administrative reviews, pharmaceutical studies, and clinical studies in outpatients from October to December 2022 at the Lapatarai Hospital, Barru District. The method in this research is descriptive with the type of research retrospective. From this study, it was found that there were 99 prescription sheets containing antihypertensive meds. The results of the assessment of the study showed that 100% of the prescriptions did not include the patient's address, the patient's weight, the patient's height, the patient's allergy history and the doctor's SIP number. In the pharmaceutical study, it was found that 100% of the prescriptions wrote down the dosage form, dosage strength, and instructions for using the medicine. With the majority of antihypertensive meds prescribed in tablet dosage forms. In terms of clinical requirements, it was found that the prescriptions were not duplicated and there were 95,38% of prescriptions that had conection between antihypertensive as medicine recipe and other meds supplies. The results of this study show a discrepancy between the review profile of antihypertensive as medicine recipe at the Lapatarai general hospital by standard regulations in Indonesia.

Abstract

The management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and consumable medical materials is a cycle of activities, starting from selection, needs planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, destruction and withdrawal, monitoring, and administration. This research aims to find out what management is like at Prof. Hospital. Dr. H. Anwar Makkatutu, Bantaeng Regency, and its compliance with the regulations in force in Indonesia. This research is descriptive and qualitative using guided interview methods as well as o, observation, review. The results showed that: the management was not fully in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 72 of 2016 concerning pharmaceutical service standards in hospitals while the management aspects that were not yet in accordance were accepted with a percentage of 77.77%, storage with a percentage of 93.54%, distribution with a percentage 85.71%, and destruction and withdrawal with a percentage of 85.71%.

Abstract

Pengelolan obat merupakan pelayanaan manajerial rumah sakit yang merupakan suatu siklus kegiatan dimulai dari pemilihan, perencanaan kebutuhan, pengadaan, penerimaan, penyimpanan, pendistribusian, pemusnahan dan penarikan, pengendalian, serta administrasi yang diperlukan bagi kegiatan Pelayanan Kefarmasian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menyajikan data tentang pegelolaan obat dalam bentuk deskriptif di RSKD Ibu dan Anak Siti Fatimah Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kombinasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang disajikan secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Profil Pengelolaan Obat di RSKD Ibu dan Anak Siti Fatimah Kota Makassar untuk tahap Pemilihan, Perencanaan Kebutuhan, Pengadaan, Pendistribusian, Pemusnahan dan Penarikan, Pengendalian, dan Administrasi telah sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku dengan persentase kesesuaian mencapai 100% dan termasuk dalam kriteria Sangat Baik, sedangkan untuk tahap Penerimaan hanya mencapai persentase kesesuaian 77,77% dan termasuk dalam kriteria Baik, dan untuk Penyimpanan hanya mencapai persentase kesesuaian 92,98% dan termasuk dalam kriteria Sangat Baik. Kesimpulan pengelolaan obat di RSKD Ibu dan Anak Siti Fatimah belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan standar regulasi Permenkes Nomor 72 Tahun 2016 Tentang Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Rumah Sakit dan Petunjuk Teknis Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Rumah Sakit Tahun 2019.
