Abstract

Kebutuhan akan jaringan internet yang andal dan selalu tersedia telah menjadi krusial dalam kehidupan modern, baik bagi individu maupun bisnis. Ketergantungan pada aplikasi daring, layanan cloud, dan komunikasi real-time membuat setiap gangguan jaringan (network downtime) dapat mengakibatkan kerugian finansial, hilangnya produktivitas, bahkan terganggunya layanan publik. Oleh karena itu, penyedia layanan internet dituntut untuk menjamin kontinuitas dan kualitas layanan melalui implementasi sistem yang handal dan toleran terhadap kesalahan. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi failover pada Base Transceiver Station (BTS) sebagai solusi untuk meminimalisir network downtime dan menjaga ketersediaan layanan. Failover memungkinkan BTS untuk secara otomatis beralih ke jalur cadangan ketika terjadi gangguan pada jalur utama, sehingga koneksi internet tetap terjaga. Implementasi failover dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan metode Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) yang terstruktur untuk memastikan efektivitas dan efisiensi penerapan. Metode NDLC meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi risiko dan titik rawan kegagalan, desain sistem failover yang optimal, simulasi prototipe untuk menguji konfigurasi sebelum implementasi, implementasi pada BTS, monitoring kinerja sistem secara berkala, dan manajemen sistem untuk pemeliharaan dan optimalisasi. Pengujian white penetration test dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi keamanan sistem dan mengidentifikasi potensi celah keamanan yang dapat dieksploitasi. Aplikasi The Dude digunakan untuk pemantauan jaringan secara real-time, memungkinkan administrator untuk mendeteksi dan merespon gangguan secara cepat. Studi kasus implementasi dilakukan dengan menghubungkan Data Center APJII dan BTS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi failover dengan metode NDLC efektif dalam mengurangi downtime dan meningkatkan keandalan jaringan, sehingga menjamin kontinuitas layanan internet bagi pengguna.

Abstract

Abstract Objective and transparent teacher performance appraisal is very important to improve the quality of education. This research aims to develop a web-based teacher performance appraisal system using the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method at SMK 10 November Jombang. The system allows assessment based on four main criteria: Pedagogic (40%), Personality (20%), Social (20%), and Professional (20%), with 14 indicators to assess teacher performance. The results show that the application of the SMART method in a web-based system can improve the objectivity and transparency of the assessment. Teachers with the highest utility scores such as Eti Pertiwisasi, S.Pd, Desy H Arini, S.Kom, Deny Saputro, S.Kom, and Angga Setiya Budi, S.Kom scored 1.00, while Anggit Kinanti, S.Pd scored 0.93. The system also supports more objective decision-making and provides constructive feedback for teachers' professional development. The results of this system compared to manual calculations show high consistency. This research is expected to contribute to improving the quality of teacher performance appraisal and the quality of education at SMK 10 November Jombang.
