<![CDATA[The importance of prayer shows the quality of the believer's relationship with God and the quality of his spirituality. Prayer should be the main center for the life of a believer so that prayer is not a formality or routine of the believer's life but rather a close or intimate relationship with the Creator. This understanding needs to be straightened out through Paul's consistency in praying related to the letters he wrote, especially in 1 Thessalonians. Paul stated this as an important principle in the life of a believer. The author uses a descriptive qualitative method with a thematic approach through literature reviews related to the topic discussed. The purpose of this study is First, to state Paul's lifestyle about prayer according to 1 Thessalonians. Second, to implement a lifestyle of prayer in the lives of believers.AbstrakKeutamaan doa menunjukkan kualitas hubungan orang percaya dengan Tuhan dan kualitas kerohaniannya. Seharusnya doa menjadi sentral utama bagi hidup orang percaya sehingga doa bukan menjadi formalitas atau rutinitas hidup orang percaya melainkan terjalinnya hubungan yang erat atau intim terhadap Sang Pencipta. Pemahaman seperti ini perlu diluruskan melalui kekonsistenan Paulus dalam hal berdoa terkait surat-surat yang ditulisnya, terutama dalam 1 Tesalonika. Paulus menyatakan hal ini sebagai prinsip penting dalam kehidupan orang percaya. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan tematik melalui literatur riview terkait topik yang dibahas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Pertama, menyatakan gaya hidup Paulus tentang doa menurut 1 Tesalonika. Kedua, mengimplementasikan gaya hidup doa dalam kehidupan orang percaya.]]>
