Abstract

This thesis discusses the system formation in Meong Pet Shop covering gromming services and selling goods. Based on previous research by conducting survey and interview methods, the counting and recording methods at Meong Pet Shop are currently still done manually. The Meow Pet Shop Information System contains information on goods data, information on gromming service data, customer data information, deposit data information, sales data information and return data information and reports. Computerized storage will make the process easy and fast processed to facilitate employees in processing data into information in the form of reports. The application used in making this information system uses the Visual Basic.Net application. The Meow Pet Shop application is expected to reduce data duplication. This application also has reports making facilities including goods data reports, gromming data reports, deposit data reports, sales data reports, returns data reports and stock addition data reports.

Abstract

Recruitment is very important for offices to get new recruits to occupy a position. In some offices, the process of admitting new members is still not done professionally. This occurs because there is no systematic standard method for assessing the eligibility of new recruits. The decision support system application for recruiting new members was built using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. with several criteria, namely: knowledge, interviews, written tests, administration. This method was chosen because it can determine the weight value for each attribute, then followed by a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the alternative is those that are entitled to be accepted as new members based on the specified criteria. Based on the test results, this decision support system uses php myAdmin and visual basic 6.0 to design the program. The system built can simplify and accelerate the process of selecting new recruits and help managers of the Human Resources (HR) division.

Abstract

SmartComp is a business engaged in the sale of computer equipment, accessories, and services. The image and prestige in the eyes of the public is enough to raise the name of this business. However, these businesses still have major obstacles in promoting the goods and services they have and added to the limited time and energy because they still use the old way by distributing brochures and installing banners that are expected to attract public attention. But in fact, there are still many people who do not know the types of goods and services offered by SmartComp. The advantages of the new system are that people know what products are in the e-commerce application and can directly order goods and services online without having to come directly to the place where the business is located so as to provide security and comfort in transacting without taking up the time and energy they have.
