Abstract

This research seeks to investigate how the supervision of academic principals, the atmosphere at work, and self-confidence affect the teaching quality in high schools located in the Ngaglik District. The study follows an ex-post facto design with a focus on quantitative analysis. The population of this study was 111 teachers in high schools in Ngaglik District. The determination of the research sample of 93 teachers used the simple random sampling technique. The classical assumption test was carried out by testing for normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The study revealed that principal’s academic supervision (X1), work environment (X2), and self-efficacy (X3) each had a positive and significant impact on teacher performance (Y). Academic supervision (X1) had a regression coefficient of 0.419, t = 5.949 > 1.580, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The work environment (X2) showed a coefficient of 0.345, t = 4.668 > 1.580, and significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Self-efficacy (X3) recorded the highest influence, with a coefficient of 0.460, t = 6.920 > 1.580, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, academic supervision (X1), work environment (X2), and self-efficacy (X3) collectively influenced teacher performance (Y) significantly, indicated by F = 17.537 > 4.04, significance = 0.000 < 0.05, and an R² value of 0.401.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan materi ajar teks anekdot berbasis andorid menggunakan model abee (anekdot bee) dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan dalam menerapkan media pembelajaran di kelas yang satu dengan yang lain. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan mengembangkan materi ajar teks nekdot berbasis android menggunakan model abee. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian yaitu mampu memberikan wawasan baru tentang penggunaan media sebagai pengembangan materi ajar berbasis android. Metode yang digunakan adalah model deskriptif dari metode kuantitatif kemudian dideskripsikan untuk mempermudah pembaca. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba purwarupa rancang bangun pengembangan materi ajar teks anekdot berbasis android menggunakan model abee dapat dinyatakan layak melalui hasil penilaian expert judgment yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas X. Pada rumus Aiken’s V dinyatakan valid apabila rentang indeks mencapai rentang 0,00 – 1,00 sehingga dari hasil uji butir indikator menunjukkkan hasil 0,875 maka dinilai cukup tinggi untuk mendukung perangkat indikator secara keseluruhan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diterapkan pada Kompetensi Dasar 3.6 menganalisis struktur dan kebahasaan teks anekdot dan 4.6 menciptakan kembali teks anekdot dengan memerhatikan struktur kebahasaan. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangkan materi ajar teks anekdot berbasis android menggunakan model abee dengan menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE, yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi, dan evaluation (evaluasi). Menurut hasil angket penelitian, aplikasi abee bagus dari segi isi, namun kontennya perlu diperluas.

Abstract

Forest fires in Indonesia occur continuously every year, but coverage of these events has not been popular in the mass media. The purpose of this study was to identify the understanding of kumparan reporters about environmental journalism based on their knowledge and experience in reporting forest fires. To achieve this goal, this study uses an interpretive paradigm, a qualitative research approach, the unit of analysis chosen is the individual (kumparan reporter), data collection techniques are carried out with in-depth interviews (primary data) and reporting documentation written by the kumparan reporter (secondary data), Data analysis techniques are performed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The concepts in this research are environmental journalism, reporters as news agents, reporters' understanding of reporting issues, and environmental journalism problems. A reporter' who understands in reporting forest fires is a reporter who knows the ideal coverage in accordance with environmental journalism and applies elements of environmental journalism namely ecology, social and economic development. The findings in this study indicate that only some of the elements of environmental journalism are known and applied by kumparan reporters, so it can be concluded that kumparan reporters do not understand in reporting forest fires. The misunderstanding arises from the knowledge and experience in carrying out the journalistic process, namely there is no separate environmental desk, there is a separation of angle determination from reporters and editors, and the educational background of reporters is not related to environmental knowledge. Reporters only understand environmental journalism from their experience in covering forest fires.
