Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat persepsi dan sikap orangtua terhadap produk asuransi pendidikan, serta untuk menemukan adanya hubungan antara persepsi dan sikap. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik deskripstif korelasional. Teknik deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat persepsi dan sikap orangtua terhadap produk asuransi pendidikan di Kecamatan Bohorok. Sedangkan teknik korelasional digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi dan sikap orangtua terhadap produk asuransi pendidikan di Kecamatan Bohorok. Populasi penelitian ini adalah orangtua siswa di Kecamatan Bohorok dengan jumlah 247 responden. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 139 orangtua dengan menggunakan teknik propotional random sampling. Hasil pengolahan data persepsi orangtua terhadap Asuransi Pendidikan di Kecamatan Bohorok termasuk dalam kategori interval ‘positif’. Hal ini terlihat dari 139 orangtua, 134 orangtua dengan persentase 96,4% memiliki persepsi positif dan rata-rata/mean 23,83 dan 130 orangtua dengan persentase 93,5% memiliki sikap positif dan rata-rata/mean 23,91. Selain itu, dilihat dari hasil analisis subvariabel persepsi orangtua terhadap Asuransi Pendidikan secara keseluruhan subvariabel perhatian, pemahaman, dan ingatan secara umum berkategori ‘positif’. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat persepsi dan sikap orangtua siswa terhadap produk asuransi pendidikan di Kecamatan Bohorok tergolong dalam kategori positif. Abstract study aims to describe the level of parents' perceptions and attitudes towards education insurance products, and to find a relationship between perceptions and attitudes. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational descriptive techniques. Descriptive techniques are used to describe the level of perceptions and attitudes of parents towards education insurance products in Bohorok District. While the correlational technique is used to determine the relationship between perceptions and attitudes of parents towards education insurance products in Bohorok District. The population of this study were parents of students in the District of Bohorok with a total of 247 respondents. The sample taken was 139 parents using a proportional random sampling technique. The results of data processing on parents' perceptions of Education Insurance in Bohorok District are included in the 'positive' interval category. This can be seen from 139 parents, 134 parents with a percentage of 96.4% had positive perceptions and an average/mean of 23.83 and 130 parents with a percentage of 93.5% had a positive attitude and an average/mean of 23.91. In addition, judging from the results of the analysis of the sub-variables of parents' perceptions of Education Insurance as a whole, the sub-variables of attention, understanding, and memory are generally in the 'positive' category. Thus it can be concluded that the level of perceptions and attitudes of parents of students towards education insurance products in Bohorok Sub-District belongs to the positive category.
