Abstract

The role of fintech in driving sustainable transactions and green investments around the world is increasingly important as the need for environmentally friendly financial solutions increases. Fintech does this by making products and services more accessible and encouraging wider participation in the green economy. Financial technology, or fintech, through inclusive and effective digital platforms helps more people access green financing. Fintech technologies help reduce carbon footprints by replacing resource-intensive conventional financial processes with digital-based technologies. In addition, fintech encourages green investments by offering services such as crowdlending for renewable energy projects, tokenization of environmentally friendly assets, and desire-based portfolio monitoring applications. Partnerships between fintech, regulators, and the conventional financial sector are essential to building an ecosystem that supports the transition to a low-carbon economy. This article discusses the strategic role of fintech in driving global green investments and sustainable transactions, the issues faced, and opportunities to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the future.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has led to significant changes in various areas of the industry, including Islamic banking. The digital Era has created new opportunities for Islamic banking to innovate in developing products and services that are more accessible, efficient, and in accordance with Islamic principles. This research uses qualitative method with literature study approach. Library sources can be obtained from books, journals, magazines, research results (theses and dissertations), and other relevant sources (internet, newspapers, and others). The results show that innovation of products and services related to Islamic finance in the digital era has significant potential to improve financial accessibility, improve operational efficiency, increase transparency, develop products and services that are more in line with the needs of Micro, Small, Medium and large enterprises, and increase awareness of financial products. This paper provides guidance on how to improve the innovation of Islamic banking products and services in the digital era, such as improving more personalized products and services, improving standards of financial literacy and education.

Abstract

Perkembangan sektor perbankan di Indonesia tidak terlepas dari revolusi industri 4.0 yang telah membawa banyak perubahan, termasuk di dalamnya pengintegrasian teknologi digital dalam berbagai aspek transaksi keuangan. Dengan populasi yang sangat besar dan mayoritas beragama Islam, bank syariah di Indonesia memiliki peluang untuk mengembangkan layanan dan produk mereka dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, apalagi dengan adanya generasi milenial yang merupakan pengguna teknologi yang sangat aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data sekunder. Jenis penelitian adalah studi kepustakaan. Selanjutnya, teknik pengumpulan data digunakan, yaitu mencari literatur yang relevan atau berkaitan dengan topik penelitian, seperti buku dan jurnal ilmiah. Selanjutnya analisis data dilakukan melalui deskripsi dan analisis data. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa generasi milenial sangat menginginkan kemudahan dalam transaksi keuangan. Mereka lebih memilih layanan perbankan yang menawarkan aksesibilitas mudah, fitur yang bervariasi, dan transaksi yang cepat. Ini menjadi dasar bagi bank syariah untuk berinovasi dalam layanan digital mereka. Beberapa strategi yang berhasil menarik minat generasi milenial adalah pemanfaatan media sosial, pemasaran konten, dan kolaborasi dengan influencer. bank syariah yang dapat menyediakan layanan seperti mobile banking, internet banking, dan aplikasi digital lainnya cenderung lebih menarik bagi generasi milenial. Hal ini menciptakan pengalaman perbankan yang lebih baik dan sesuai dengan gaya hidup mereka yang serba cepat dan digital. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bank syariah di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan pemasaran digital di era 4.0. Dengan semakin meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi digital di kalangan generasi milenial, bank syariah perlu beradaptasi dengan cepat dan efektif agar dapat menarik minat dan kebutuhan nasabah muda.
