Abstract

The emergence of digital technology and innovation has made great progress towards the development of digital banking services. Technological advances mean that the banking world now uses technology-based transactions to make transactions with customers easier. This research method uses library research by collecting data and information obtained through various kinds of material contained in the literature (books). By using analytical descriptions with a qualitative approach in processing the sources. The research results show that the role of digital technology and innovation in developing digital banking services is very helpful for easy access for all parties, both from the banks themselves and also for customers. The emergence of digital banking technologies such as ATM technology, E-Banking, SMS Banking, and M-Banking has become a major change in the banking sector's transformation. Opportunities and challenges arise in terms of society, product promotion, products according to society's needs, increased internet use, growth in digital transactions, and technology adoption in the era of society 5.0. Meanwhile, there are challenges in terms of human resources, privacy security, ease of access, and literacy education for the community.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently quite rapid, bringing about major changes in various aspects of human life. One of the innovations in technological progress today is the Payment Service Provider (PSP). PSP is currently used in several institutions, one of which is in Islamic boarding schools. In the era of globalization and digitalization, the use of Payment Service Providers (PSP) which is used as a payment method to replace paper money offers an innovative and efficient solution.  The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of payments with PSP to replace paper money at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Qur'an Ar Ridwan Bojonegoro. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study type. Data collection techniques in the study were carried out by in-depth interviews with financial managers and users of the PSP program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Qur'an Ar Ridwan Bojonegoro. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of financial digitalization through the use of PSP in managing student finances brings various important benefits. Among them are the ease of recording and reporting finances that are more transparent between the boarding school, guardians of students, and students themselves. Not only does it provide benefits, but the use of PSP also has its drawbacks, namely the card is easily lost and can only be used at the Ar Ridwan institution. In general, the use of PSP Mobile makes it easier for students to manage their personal finances more effectively and efficiently..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of cash advance payments at the Labudda Ar Ridwan Bojonegoro Madrasah Canteen from a socio-economic and Islamic economic perspective. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods through observation, interviews, and documentation of the canteen manager and students who use cash advances. The results show that the cash advance system is still relevant in the digital era because it offers flexibility, does not require an internet connection, and is based on social trust. The main factors contributing to cash advance use include family economic limitations, technical constraints, and financial constraints. Payment Service Providers (PSP), as well as urgent needs in the school environment. From a socio-economic perspective, the practice of cash advances has positive impacts in the form of increased social solidarity, empathy, and a sense of responsibility, although it has the potential to pose risks such as late payments and cash flow disruptions. From an Islamic economic perspective, cash advances are included in the contract of sale. Qardh hasan, which reflects ta’awun (please help), and ukhwah (brotherhood) without any element of usury. Furthermore, cash advances serve as a medium for character education by instilling the values ​​of honesty, discipline, and responsibility. The cash advance system in madrasas is a form of local adaptation to the limitations of digitalization and a reflection of local wisdom that balances traditional values ​​with the demands of modernity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Hajj Ritual Assistance Plus program implemented by KBIHU As-Sa’diyah, Senori District, Tuban Regency, in improving the readiness of prospective pilgrims through innovative guidance methods. The research employs a qualitative case study approach to investigate the application and impact of the program in a real-world and contextual setting. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with KBIHU organizers, pilgrims, and related stakeholders, as well as direct observation of manasik hajj (ritual rehearsal) activities and the use of digital tools. The program incorporates experiential learning, digital-based materials (video tutorials and e-books), as well as online and offline consultation, aiming to build pilgrims’ mental, physical, and spiritual preparedness. The findings show that the program significantly improves pilgrims' understanding of hajj rituals, physical readiness, and spiritual awareness. Despite challenges such as limited access to digital tools for elderly participants and infrastructure constraints, the program presents a promising model for hajj preparation that could be adopted by other KBIHUs in Indonesia
