<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) adalah Penyebab turun nya kekebalan tubuh karena sel darah putih yang terinfeksi oleh virus. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) adalah hasil infeksi virus HIV yang memunculkan beberapa sekumpulan gejala sehingga sistem kekebalan tubuh menurun. HIV menghancurkan sel CD4, melemahkan kekebalan seseorang terhadap adanya infeksi oportunistik, seperti tuberkulosis dan infeksi jamur, infkesi bakteri dan beberapa kanker. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui edukasi risikoHIV/AIDS pada kalangan remaja di pondok pesantren nurul anwar komba Sentani Kabupaten Jayapura. Metode yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan atau edukasi Adapun Hasil setelah di lakukan penyuluhan pada kelompok remaja dengan kategeori pengetahuan baik 15 (60%). Kesimpulan dengan memberikan penyuluhan kegiatan tentang HIV/AIDS dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pada remaja. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, HIV/AIDS, Remaja. ABSTRACT Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is the cause of decreased immunity due to white blood cells infected by the virus. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is the result of HIV infection which causes several sets of symptoms so that the immune system decreases. HIV destroys CD4 cells, weakening a person's immunity to opportunistic infections, such as tuberculosis and fungal infections, bacterial infections and several cancers. The purpose of this community service is to find out the education of HIV/AIDS risks among adolescents at the Nurul Anwar Komba Sentani Islamic Boarding School, Jayapura Regency. The method used is counseling or education. The results after counseling were carried out on adolescent groups with a good knowledge category of 15 (60%).
