Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the school principal in efforts to improve the quality of Islamic religious education at SMP PGRI 2 Selagai Lingga. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the principal plays a significant role as an educator, supervisor, and manager through programs such as Quranic reading sessions, dhuha prayer, and religious sermons designed to improve student morality. Additionally, the principal involves the teaching council in supervision and skill enhancement, including the use of technology in learning. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the principal's role in creating a conducive and integrated educational environment based on Islamic principles.

Abstract

Mempertahankan eksistensi sebuah lembaga pendidikan merupakan sebuah keniscayaan. Namun tidak sedikit lembaga yang gagal dalam melakukan hal tersebut, dikarenakan kurang tepatnya perumusan langkah-langkah strategis yang diambil. UNHASY Tebuireng dan UNWAHA Tambakberas merupakan Perguruan Tinggi yang telah mencapai pengembangan kelembagaan dari level Sekolah Tinggi dan Institute menjadi level Universitas. Untuk itu, penelitian ini membahas tentang formulasi strategi pengembangan lembaga Perguruan Tinggi berbasis Pesantren yang difokuskan pada 2 masalah utama yakni: (1) perumusan arah organisasi kedepan melalui pengembangan lembaga pendidikan tinggi; dan juga (2) perumusan strategi kebijakan dalam pengembangan lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan multi-situs, yang mana dalam pengumpulan data, diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara secara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi secara mendalam, dengan harapan dapat menjabarkan temuan-temuan yang diperoleh secara detail dan komprehensif dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penilaian ini memuat beberapa rumusan strategi pengembangan yakni menentukan arah organisasi yang tersurat dalam visi, misi, tujuan dan obyejtif. Selanjutnya dibarengi dengan perumusan strategy yang meliputi 4 aspek yakni perubahan struktural, penambahan keilmuan, perbaikan SDM, perbaikan sarana prasarana dan layanan sistem administrasi berbasis teknologi. Adapun kebijakan-kebijakan terkait strategi meliputi (1) pengangkatan pembantu pimpinan puncak yang berkompeten, sehingga memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan melalui kerja sama dengan institusi lain; (2) penambahan program studi baru sebagai upaya tercapainya integrasi keilmuan umum dan agama; (3) perekrutan tenaga pendidik yang menjadi fokus utama dalam peningkatan mutu pada aspek kuantitatif, yang selanjutnya secara kualitatif dengan mencapai gelar akademik tertinggi (S3) bagi pendidik dan juga adaya diklat dan seminar guna meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik, penelitian dan juga pengabdian masyarakat; dan terkahir (4) penambahan gedung dan fasilitas berbasis teknologi guna menunjang layanan akademik menjadi lebih efekti dan efisien terutama pada masa pandemi seperti sekarang ini.

Abstract

Pesantren which is the oldest institution in Indonesia, has various uniqueness to be researched. The pattern of education also tends to be the same from time to time, namely through approaches based on local wisdom of the community. Likewise, the Al-Amin People's Islamic Boarding School in Sumberpucung District, Malang Regency, which is able to develop formulations in governance based on the values of usefulness for the surrounding community. Therefore, this study is intended to explain the management of Islamic boarding schools based on local wisdom which is focused on the education governance system of Islamic Boarding Schools based on local wisdom. The method in the study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation. The results of the research can be concluded that the Islamic Boarding School Management System is based on Local Wisdom at the stage of planning activities based on community potential while involving all elements of society through a poll that is conducted with the principle of anywhere, anytime and with anyone. The activities that have been formulated target several aspects, namely (1) curriculum aspects, including the selection of teaching staff from community competencies and learning content oriented to the development of cultural arts, entrepreneurship development, agriculture and livestock; (2) economic aspects, including the establishment of Islamic boarding school barns, savings for students and the surrounding community; (3) institutional aspects that include the establishment of formal education as a support system for early childhood education

Abstract

IPNU-IPPNU merupakan organisasi kepemudaan Islam di Indonesia yang juga merupakan bagian dari sayap organisasi Islam terbesar di dunia yakni Nahdlatul Ulama. Karena itu, organisasi ini mempunyai andil yang sangat besar dalam proses kaderisasi organisasi NU. Tujuannya yaitu mencetak generasi penerus yang berpendidikan sebagai modal dalam menuju peradaban Islam yang gemilang. Visi yang mulia tersebut hanyalah akan menjadi angan, manakala tidak dibarengi dengan keterampilan tata kelola organisasi yang baik. Perlu kiranya membekali para pengurus atau sumber daya manusia di dalam organisasi tersebut kemampuan manajerial organisasi. Sumber daya manusia merupakan unsur terpenting dalam putaran roda suatu organisasi. Cepat lambatnya pencapaian tujuan organisasi, tergantung berkulitas ataukah tidak sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya. Aktifitas organisasi, seperti rencana, pengambilan keputusan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi memerlukan peran serta sumber daya manusia yang terampil. Untuk itulah, dalam rangka mewujudkan organisasi yang efektif dan efisien, maka para pengurus PAC (Pimpinan Anak Cabang) IPNU-IPPNU Kecamatan Selorejo mengadakan Latihan Kader Muda dalam rangka melatih ketrampilan manajerial pengurus dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi.
