Abstract

AbstrakInternet merupakan salah satu penunjang keberhasilan suatu bisnis. Di era saat ini hampir semua bisnis memerlukan internet untuk mendukung proses bisnis tersebut. Adapun kegunaan internet yang dikenalkan kepada masyarakat dalam sosialisasi ini adalah media pemasaran digital seperti media sosial. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan di Desa Pancaroba pada tanggal 28 September 2024. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat, meningkatkan daya saing produk pertanian, dan juga bisa meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 40 masyarakat Desa Pancaroba. Evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu test dan survey tingkat kepuasan kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi berupa pretest dan posttest menunjukan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sesudah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebesar 24%. Nilai 24% menunjukan bahwa kegiatan yang dilaksanakan telah memberikan manfaat bagi para peserta. Nilai survey kepuasan peserta yaitu 83%, nilai ini menunjukan peserta sangat puas terhadap kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM). Kata kunci: internet; pemasaran digital; media sosial Abstract The internet is one of the supports for the success of a business. In the current era, almost all businesses need the internet to support the business process. The use of the internet that is introduced to the community in this socialization is digital marketing media such as social media. This socialization was conducted in Pancaroba Village on 28 September 2024. The purpose of this activity is to increase community knowledge and skills, increase the competitiveness of agricultural products, and can also increase farmers' income. The methods used were lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and training. This activity was attended by 40 people from Pancaroba Village. The evaluation of the activity used two instruments, namely a test and a survey of the level of satisfaction with the activity. The evaluation results in the form of pretests and posttests showed an increase in participants' knowledge after participating in community service activities by 24%. A value of 24% indicates that the activities carried out have provided benefits to the participants. The participant satisfaction survey value is 83%, This value shows that participants are delighted with service to society (PKM) activities. Keywords: internet; digital marketing; social media

Abstract

English language proficiency is a crucial competency in both academic and professional environments. One of the most widely used instruments to assess this proficiency is the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). However, conventional test administration still faces several challenges, such as time-consuming scoring processes and inefficient administrative management. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based IELTS testing application with an automated scoring system at the ASC Indonesia Language Institute. The development of this application employs the waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and maintenance stages. The technologies used include the Laravel framework for the backend, Vue.js for the frontend, and MySQL as the database management system. The automated scoring system is implemented using a rule-based algorithm aligned with IELTS scoring standards. The testing results indicate that the developed application is capable of supporting IELTS test administration in a more effective and efficient manner. The scoring process can be performed automatically with a high level of speed and accuracy. In addition, the application provides test result reporting features that assist both test participants and language institute administrators in evaluating and analyzing English language proficiency. In conclusion, this web-based IELTS testing application is expected to serve as an innovative digital solution to enhance the quality and efficiency of English language test administration.
