Abstract

This study aims to implement project-based learning in increasing students' social awareness through alms activities in grade IV of elementary school. The research approach used is Classroom Action Research, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study was 20 grade IV students of an elementary school in Negeri 002 Rambah Hilir Riau in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. The results of the study show that the application of project-based learning through alms activities is able to increase students' understanding and awareness of the importance of sharing with others. In addition, there was an increase in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students that were related to the value of social care. Thus, project-based learning can be an effective strategy to instill the character of social care in elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding of the meaning of prayer through a hands-on approach in grade III elementary school students. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research, which is carried out in two cycles. The study subjects were 21 students in grade III of elementary school. The instruments used include observation sheets, interviews, and comprehension tests. The study results show that applying the hands-on approach can increase students' understanding of the meaning of prayer. In cycle I, students' comprehension increased by 20%, while in cycle II, it increased by 35%. These results show that the hands-on approach is effective in helping students understand the meaning of prayer more deeply.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding and application of al-Kulliyatu al-Khamsah values in the daily life of SMK N1 Kepenuhan Hulu grade X students. Al-Kulliyatu al-Khamsah is the five main principles in Islam, namely safeguarding religion (hifzhud-din), protecting the soul (hifzhun-nafs), safeguarding intellect (hifzhul-aql), safeguarding offspring (hifzhun-nasl), and safeguarding treasure (hifzhul-mal). The research method used is classroom action research with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that through learning based on Islamic values and hands-on practical activities, there is a significant increase in students' understanding and attitude towards al-Kulliyatu al-Khamsah. This study concludes that learning strategies based on religious values can effectively increase students' positive attitudes in daily life.
