Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, leadership training, and sharia work environment on employee performance at the Pacitan Branch Post Office. In the world of work, factors such as motivation, training quality, and a supportive environment play a very important role in improving employee performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey as a data collection technique. The respondents in this study were employees at the Pacitan Branch Post Office totaling 41 people. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to determine the influence of each independent variable on employee performance. The results of the study show that work motivation, leadership training, and sharia work environment simultaneously have a positive effect on employee performance. Partially, work motivation and leadership training have a significant influence on performance improvement, while the sharia work environment, although it has a positive effect, is not significant. This research implies that companies need to focus more on developing work motivation and leadership training programs to improve employee performance, as well as create a more supportive work environment in accordance with sharia principles.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan yang efektif pada manajer tingkat menengah memiliki peran strategis dalam menjaga kinerja organisasi, khususnya di industri perbankan yang ditandai oleh dinamika regulasi, tuntutan pelayanan tinggi, dan tekanan target kinerja. Salah satu faktor individual yang diduga berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan adalah kecerdasan emosional, yang mencakup kemampuan mengenali, mengelola, dan memanfaatkan emosi diri maupun orang lain secara konstruktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kepemimpinan efektif pada manajer tingkat menengah di industri perbankan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap manajer tingkat menengah pada beberapa lembaga perbankan. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner terstruktur yang mengukur dimensi kecerdasan emosional dan indikator kepemimpinan efektif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan analisis korelasi untuk menguji kekuatan dan arah hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kepemimpinan efektif, yang mengindikasikan bahwa manajer dengan tingkat kecerdasan emosional yang lebih tinggi cenderung menunjukkan perilaku kepemimpinan yang lebih efektif, khususnya dalam pengambilan keputusan, komunikasi interpersonal, dan pengelolaan tim. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan kecerdasan emosional sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan di industri perbankan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi pengembangan kajian kepemimpinan serta menjadi dasar praktis bagi organisasi perbankan dalam merancang program pengembangan sumber daya manusia.
