Abstract

Keterampilan menyimak (mahārah al-istimā’) dalam bahasa Arab merupakan tahapan yang pertama dalam urutan keterampilan bahasa Arab yang lain yaitu mahārah al-kalām, al-qirā’ah & al- kitābah. Dalam hal ini telah banyak metode pengajaran keterampilan menyimak bahasa Arab yang telah diterapkan, tetapi pada kenyataannya menyebabkan siswa kurang tertarik dan merasa bosan terhadap materi yang diajarkan sehingga mereka beranggapan bahwa keterampilan menyimak adalah materi yang paling sulit diantara keterampilan yang lain. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya metode atau media yang sesuai yang bisa mendorong siswa lebih bersemangat dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab terutama dalam hal ini pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak. Artikel ini akan mengkaji salah satu langkah alternatif dalam pengajaran keterampilan menyimak bahasa Arab dengan pendekatan media permainan bahasa (al-al’āb al-lughowiyah). Teknik yang digunakan lewat media permainan bahasa ini bertitik tolak dari suatu pendekatan konsentrasi menyimak terhadap kalimat atau kosakata bahasa Arab, sehingga pada akhirnya lewat permainan ini siswa belajar keterampilan menyimak dengan penuh semangat dan senang sehingga mampu mengatasi kendala psikologis yang dialami siswa, sekaligus menjadikan materi menyimak bahasa Arab menjadi materi yang mudah dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Education experts recognize the need to use the method as an educational medium or as a teaching and learning technique. This shows that in the learning method, a student can be more interested in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of maharah istima learning with the lecture method in the seventh grade of Mts Babussalam Tambar Jogoroto Jombang school. This study uses a qualitative research data sourced from observations, interviews and documents. The result of the research is that this lecture method has been carried out since elementary school. Most of the children who go up to the MTs level are graduates of MI BBs themselves, so the use of this lecture method is familiar to them. For some children who are not graduates of MI BBS, this special maharah learning method is considered easier and very helpful for their understanding. The advantages of the lecture method: it is simpler, does not require a projector/machine, and it is easier to control the class. And the drawbacks of this method are: it tends to be directed by the teacher, tends to position itself as a listener and a writer. students will be more bored and sleepy.

Abstract

The environment is one's first facility to get any language, either mother tongue or second language. Arabic as a second language (foreign) can be obtained through the Arabic environment otherwise known as the "Arab Environment". The environment is very important in achieving speaking skills. This can be obtained formally or informally at a certain level of education The focus of this research: a) Speaking skills of Students of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengon Jombang, b) Arabic language environment in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengon Jombang, and c) The role of the Arabic language environment in improving the speaking skills of students of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengon Jombang. In this study, the researcher used the qualitative approach to study the case.. This study illustrates the role of the Arabic language environment in improving the speech skills of the students of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Jombang, daily activities, and supporting factors for the development of Arabic. Data obtained through observation, interview and documentation. Analyze data using data reduction, data presentation, and data collection. The results of the research obtained are: a) the ability of students to speak Arabic is extraordinary and very diverse, depending on the educational background of the students themselves, b) The Arabic language environment in this cottage is categorized as an active and effective language environment because students in everyday life always speak Arabic as their mandatory language, and there are supportive activities in the development in the field of Arabic, c) The language environment in this cottage has an important role in improving the speaking skills of its students, for example new students who are not familiar with Arabic will gradually get used to it, and can eventually speak Arabic actively because it often intersects with Arabic.
