Abstract

Bimbingan dan konseling merupakan salah satu upaya pemberian pertolongan dalam proses pendidikan yang dilakukan guru terhadap siswa. Cakupan permasalahan dalam bimbingan dan konseling meliputi banyak hal, salah satunya diagnosis kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa. Tidak semua siswa memiliki kemampuan belajar dan pemahaman yang sama. Pada salah satu mata pelajaran misalnya IPA, masih ditemui adanya kesulitan belajar dan kurangnya pemahaman siswa pada beberapa materi pembelajaran IPA. Hambatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang demikian perlu ditindaklanjuti agar para siswa mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan memenuhi kompetensi yang harus dikuasai pada setiap materi IPA. kegiatan diagnosis kesulitan belajar akan memberikan informasi seperti, gejala kesulitan belajar siswa, faktor-faktor penyebab, dan upaya bimbingan yang dapat dilakukan untuk memberi pertolongan. Guidance and counseling is one of the efforts to provide assistance in the educational process carried out by teachers to students. The scope of problems in guidance and counseling includes many things, one of which is the diagnosis of learning difficulties experienced by students. Not all students have the same learning abilities and understanding. In one of the subjects, for example science, there are still learning difficulties and students' lack of understanding of some science learning materials. Student obstacles in the learning process need to be followed up so that students achieve learning objectives and fulfill the competencies that must be mastered in each science material. Diagnosing learning difficulties will provide information such as symptoms of student learning difficulties, causal factors, and guidance efforts that can be made to provide assistance.
