Abstract

In work the examples of analytically set and experimentally received dependences advantages of the developed algorithm of spectral transformation in basis of piecewise-quadratic Walsh’s functions are shown. The offered system and algorithm on its basis can find wide applications in such areas, as computer graphic, images processing and restoration, machine vision and multimedia, animation and manufactures of computer games.

Abstract

The smallest computational unit in CUDA is a thread that runs on a scalar processor. This thread must be associated with one processor in the AGM. Further, the set of threads is combined into a computing unit, which is executed independently of other blocks on its multiprocessor. Ah, because AGM was developed on the basis of real graphic multiprocessors, then this computing unit must be associated with AGM. When developing a parallel computing kernel in CUDA, the processing of a single block is taken into account, because from one block it is not possible to change the calculation data from another.

Abstract

Computer vision as a scientific discipline refers to the theories and technologies for creating medical database systems that receive information from an image. Despite the fact that this discipline is quite young, its results have penetrated almost all areas of life. Computer vision is closely related to other practical areas like image processing, the input of which is two-dimensional images obtained from a camera or artificially created. This form of image transformation is aimed at noise suppression, filtering, color correction and image analysis, which allows you to directly obtain specific information from the processed image. This information may include searching for objects, feature points, segments, etc. All scalar processors operate in SIMD mode, while executing a block of threads in the G80, the number of threads in a block is 32, called a warp. At the same time, in 4 clock cycles of the multiprocessor, all beam streams are processed at once when performing operations with floating point, with double precision - in 32 clock cycles, and transcendental functions - in 16 clock cycles.

Abstract

Due to this mechanism, threshold synchronization is achieved with a minimum amount of time. It is usually designed for communication between scalar processors via shared memory. The main function of graphics processors since their inception has been graphics processing. Subsequently, after it became possible to program the processing of model vertices and pixels of rendered three-dimensional scenes using special programs (shaders), the architecture of graphic processors changed significantly. After the advent of the first general-purpose programmable graphics it became possible to process commands not only for graphic data in vector form, but also to perform ordinary calculations for arbitrary data on a variety of special cores, while implementing data parallelism.
