<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi makna dan representasi feminisme dalam film Damsel melalui analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Langkah menganalisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna dan representasi feminisme tergambar melalui konflik yang dialami oleh karakter utama, Elodie, yang berasal latar belakang berbeda, seperti perlawanan terhadap budaya patriarki dan perjuangan melawan penindasan. Representasi feminisme dalam film Damsel, yaitu perempuan mampu menjadi sosok yang kuat, cerdas, tangguh, otonom, visioner, dan pemberani. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memperdalam pemahaman tentang bagaimana media membentuk persepsi gender di masyarakat. Representation of Feminism in Damsel FilmThis research aims to identify the meaning and representation of feminism in Damsel films through the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce. A qualitative descriptive approach is used in this study. The steps of analyzing data include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the meaning and representation of feminism are depicted through the conflicts experienced by the main character, Elodie, who comes from different backgrounds, such as resistance to patriarchal culture and the struggle against oppression. The representation of feminism in the film Damsel, namely women are able to become strong, intelligent, resilient, autonomous, visionary, and brave figures. The results of this study can make an important contribution in deepening the understanding of how the media shapes gender perceptions in society.]]>
