The purpose of this study was to find out the difference in social matority between male and female in senior boarding school at North Hulu Sungai Regency. The hypothesis proposed is there are difference or there are no difference between male and female student in senior boarding school at North Hulu Sungai Regency. The sample of this study is students who study in senior boarding school at North Hulu Sungai Regency each of 74 male student and 125 female student and total of the subjects was 199. This study uses a quantitative research design with sluster technique of sampling. Methods data collection is using social maturity scale and data analysis in this study was carried out by the t-test. The results of this study is there are no difference between male and female student in social maturity. Even so, on average, the average value of social maturity in female student are higher than male student (129.22 > 126.65) as indicated by t-score value < t-table(1.440 < 1.65263). So it can be concluded that in addition, there are many factors that affect social maturity student in senior boarding school such as phsyical factor and school facility that are not examined in depth in this study.
