Abstract

Basu Swastha Dharmmesta has been making painted batik for approximately 53 years but has never been systematically archived and organized. This problem encourages researchers to start cataloging and archiving Basu Swastha Dharmmesta's works to produce an annotated catalog. Cataloging uses an aesthetic approach, and data collection uses qualitative methods. The annotated catalog is a semi-active dynamic archive containing detailed information about the artist, both in academia and art. This catalog measures 33x21cm and contains 104 batik paintings by Basu Swastha Dharmmesta during his 53 years of work. Making the annotated catalog consists of several stages: licensing and consultation with the supervisor, collecting data and materials, interviewing the artist, taking documentation of artworks and academic works, compiling materials and information, and making the design and packaging of the annotated catalog. The documentation archive in the form of this annotated catalog can be an authoritative reference for the public to know the academic works and batik paintings of Basu Swastha Dharmmesta and be able to become an authoritative reference.

Non-participatory direct observation methods, semistructured interviews and literature studies collected data. The results of the study revealed matters related to the display of museum collections, including supporting elements and aspects arranged in the form of type of space, spacefloor design, work material, storyline, exhibition text and labeling of works, visitor circulation, air circulation, lighting and supporting facilities and visual elements.Based on the study's results, it can conclude that the collection display at Kotagede Museum uses rules for the use of cultural heritage buildings. Abstract

Museum Wayang Kekayon Yogyakarta is one of the museums in Indonesia that boasts a wide variety of wayang (shadow puppetry) collections. Founded by Prof. Dr. dr. KPH. Soejono Prawirohadikusumo, Sp. S, Sp.Kj. (K), better known as the late Pak Soejono, this museum serves as a cultural heritage site from the past, emphasizing the importance of preserving and maintaining its collections due to their significant cultural value. Various methods are employed to ensure these collections are preserved while also serving as educational tools for future generations. One such method is the creation of the museum's E-Catalog. The primary goal of the E-Catalog collection is to identify the museum's collections. The creation of the E-Catalog Collection of Museum Wayang Kekayon specifically focuses on the type of leather puppet (wayang kulit purwa) collections. All data is gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The process of creating the collection catalog involves several steps, including preparation (related to permissions and artwork reviews), Action Work (taking photos, recording, measuring, and checking each collection), Intellectual Work (writing museum biographies and wayang descriptions), Compilation of materials and information, creation of collection catalog layout designs, and presenting the catalog collection results on the website in flipbook format. The collection catalog contains general information and descriptions of 75 wayang kulit purwa collections. These collections are classified based on wayang characters such as gunungan (mountain-shaped screen), gods, Ramayana characters, and Mahabharata characters. With the creation of this collection catalog, it serves as education for the public regarding archives and wayang, enriching cultural knowledge and appreciation.

Abstract

Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yakni data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data), dan conclusion drawing/verification (menarik kesimpulan).Planning for the Implementation of the First Congress Alumni of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design ISI YogyakartaABSTRACTIndonesia Academy of Fine Arts (ASRI) is the forerunner of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Indonesia Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta (FSRD ISI Yogyakarta). ASRI was inaugurated on January 15, 1950. Seventy years later, precisely on January 19, 2020, the Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR) through the congress committee was able to achieve its mission, namely holding the First Alumni Congress, and also achieved its goal successfully, namely the formation of an alumni organization called IKASRI (Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Seni Rupa ISI Yogyakarta), which is chaired by Heri Pemad. It is not an easy matter to hold an alumni congress which is quite far from the beginning of the establishment of an institution that already has thousands of alumni. This is where the importance of mature organizational management, especially in the field of planning, lies, so that this congress activity can achieve its goals. Planning is the most crucial part because at this function stage it becomes the basis before other management functions are carried out such as organizing, directing and supervising. This study focuses on the planning function stage. Where this planning process has gone through 4 stages, namely goal setting, formulation of current conditions, identification of convenience and obstacles, and development of plans to achieve goals. The study used a qualitative method, with a case study approach. Data processing techniques are carried out through three stages, reduction, data display, and verification.

The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research methods involving visitors with physical disabilities and sensory impairments who have visited the permanent diorama exhibition room, staff at the Fort Vredeburg Yogyakarta Museum, as well as teachers and art activists in the context of people with disabilities in Yogyakarta. The theoretical approach used in this research is the theory of museums, exhibition spaces, accessibility, people with disabilities, as well as human rights and social inclusion. The research results show that the accessibility facilities in the museum exhibition room meet the standards in the form of the availability of automatic doors, corridors, manuvering areas, rams and guide tiles. However, accessibility facilities do not fully accommodate people with physical disabilities who are physically impaired and who are visually impaired due to the lack of adequate rams with handrails, audio descriptions, braille text and tactile objects. This research suggests that museums can improve accessibility facilities that are not yet available to increase comfort and convenience regarding the narrative they want to convey through the collection layout and information labels presented in accordance with inclusive building design standard regulations for visitors with physical disabilities and sensory impairments when visiting the space. permanent display of dioramas at the Fort Vredeburg Museum in Yogyakarta.
