Abstract

This research was based on the low social studies learning outcomes of class IV SDN 004 Bangkinang, therefore the researchers provided a solution in the form of applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to improve student learning outcomes Recognizing the Development of Production, Communication and Transportation Technologies. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to apply the Student Facilitator and Explaining model to improve social studies learning outcomes in the material Understanding the Development of Production, Communication and Transportation Technology in class IV students at SDN 004 Bangkinang. This research was conducted in class IV SDN 004 Bangkinang. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle held two meetings. The subjects of this study were 16 grade IV students at SDN 004 Bangkinang, with 10 male students and 6 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation, and testing techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in cycle I it was still quite sufficient with an average of 75.93, then out of 16 students only 12 students or 75% achieved completeness individually. Student learning outcomes in cycle II were relatively good with an average of 86.87 and 15 students completed or 93.75% who achieved completeness individually. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model it can improve learning outcomes Recognizing the Development of Production, Communication and Transportation Technology in class IV students at SDN 004 Bangkinang.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years through rhythmic gymnastics at TK Darul Yaqin Koto Ranah village, District Kabun, Rokan Hulu Regency. The type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out collaboratively between researchers and classroom teachers. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle was conducted in two meetings. The subjects of this study were 10 children of the Darul Yaqin Kindergarten Playgroup in Koto Ranah Village, Kabun District, which consisted of 5 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and documentation. Techniques Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that there was an increase in gross motor skills after using rhythmic gymnastics. The child's gross motoric improvement every cycle experiences development. This is evidenced from the results of research 7 out of 10 children or 70% of the total have been able to do rhythmic gymnastics and begin to proficiently move their bodies without the help of their teachers. Abstract

The low cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years in Kejora Bangsa Kindergarten were the reason why this research was done. One of the activities offered by researchers to solve this problem is the activity of playing to know colors. The research used was classroom action research with 2 cycles and 2 meetings in each cycle, while the data collection technique used was observation and documentation techniques. The results of the research that was a significant cognitive increase in children as follows: the BB value at pre-action with a total of 10 children the percentage was 64.28%, in the first cycle the percentage was 3 children to 17.81%, in the second cycle there were 0 children the percentage was 0% As for the MB value in the pre-action with 1 child the percentage was 7.14%, in the first cycle it became 4 children the percentage was 28.57%, in the second cycle it became 0 children the percentage was 0%. As for the BSH value in pre-action with 4 children the percentage was 28.57%, in cycle I it became 1 child the percentage was 7.14%, in cycle II it became 2 children the percentage was 11.76%. As for the BSB value in Pre-action with 0 children the percentage was 0%, in the first cycle there were 7 children the percentage was 47.60%, in the second cycle there were 13 children the percentage was 88.23%. Based on the results of the research above, it is recommended that teachers be able to use color recognition play activities as an alternative way to improve children's cognitive abilities. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low fine motor skills of Group B children at TK Teduh Mandiri in Makteduh Village. One solution to address this issue is to implement pipette folding activities. This study aims to improve fine motor skills in Group B at TK Teduh Mandiri in Makteduh Village. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with two meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The results of this research show an improvement in children's scores from the pre-action phase, Cycle I, to Cycle II, which can be described as follows: In the pre-action phase, 7 children or 63.64% had low scores (BB), then in Cycle 1, this decreased to 3 children or 27.27%, and in Cycle II, it became 0 children or 0%. The moderate score (MB) in the pre-action phase was 2 children or 18.18%, then in Cycle 1, it became 2 children or 18.18%, and in Cycle II, it became 0 children or 0%. The high score (BSH) in the pre-action phase was 1 child or 9.09%, then in Cycle 1, it became 3 children or 27.27%, and it remained at 3 children or 27.27% in Cycle II. The very high score (BSB) in the pre-action phase was 1 child or 9.09%, then in Cycle 1, it became 3 children or 27.27%, and in the end, in Cycle II, it increased to 8 children or 72.73%. Based on the above research results, the researcher recommends that teachers consider implementing pipette folding activities as an alternative method to enhance children's fine motor skills. Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of the number train play method in enhancing counting skills in group A children. Counting skills are fundamental cognitive abilities essential in a child's developmental process. This study involved 12 children aged 4-5 years who were enrolled in a local kindergarten's group A.The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group, receiving instruction through the number train play method, and the control group, receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments measuring the children's counting abilities.The research results show that the group receiving instruction through the number train play method experienced a significant improvement in their counting skills, while the control group exhibited a lower level of improvement. Data analysis using a t-test revealed a significant difference between the two groups at a significance level of 0.05.This research concludes that the number train play method is effective in enhancing counting skills in group A children. The implications of this study are that play-based methods can be a valuable choice for early childhood counting instruction, offering a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience. It is expected that this research can contribute to the development of more effective teaching methods for early childhood education.
