Abstract

This study aimed to develop Artificial Intelligence-based flashcard media integrated with the Picture and Picture learning model based on students’ learning styles to improve elementary school students’ science understanding. The study employed a Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were 15 elementary school students selected according to the research objectives. Data were collected through learning style questionnaires, expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and science understanding assessments. The findings revealed that visual learning style was the most dominant among the students. The developed media achieved a feasibility score of 94.83%, categorized as highly feasible based on expert evaluations. The practicality test resulted in a score of 70%, indicating that the media was feasible for classroom use, while the effectiveness test obtained a score of 96%, categorized as highly effective. These findings indicate that the Artificial Intelligence-based flashcard media integrated with the Picture and Picture learning model is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ science understanding. In addition, the media is capable of accommodating different student learning styles and supporting a more interactive and meaningful learning process in elementary science education.
