Abstract

The potential of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal as a biological fertilizer can be used to improve soil fertility so the productivity of oil palm tree increase. The first thing that must be known to study the potential of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal is to know the diversity of these organisms. Data of diversity vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal used to obtain the selection of of potential and effective isolates. The aim of this research was to know the density of spore, colonization percentage, and types of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal of oil palm tree in PTPN III Batang Toru Estate. The observation chemical of the soil showed that the soil conditions in all of Afdeling are less fertile. The number of spores were found in the field and trapping Afdeling I; 248 and 336 spores/50 g soils respectively in Afdeling III; 225 and 307 spores/50 g soils. Percentage of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal colonization in Afdeling I by 42% and Afdeling III  32,7%. Vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal spores knowed that there consisted of two genera Glomus and Acaulospora.

Abstract

The role of mycorrhiza in maintaining biodiversity and ecosystems known mycorrhiza maintain the diversity of plants and increase productivity. The first thing that must be known to study the potential of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal is to know the diversity of these organisms. The aim of this research was to know the density of spore, colonization percentage, and types of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal of oil palm tree in PTPN III Batang Toru Estate. Percentage of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal colonization in Afdeling I by 42% and Afdeling II  34,2%. Vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal spores knowed that there consisted of one genera Glomus.

Abstract

Kehadiran fungi mikoriza arbuskula pada suatu tanaman ditandai adanya hifa dan vesikula pada akar tanaman inang. Adanya hifa pada tanaman inang menjadikan luas penyerapan unsur hara semakian luas, dikarenakan hifa yang dimiliki FMA mampu menembus tanah. Penelitian pada rhizosfer tanaman kelapa sawit menunjukkan bahwa persentase kolonisai FMA pada akar tanaman kelapa sawit Afdeling II sebesar 34,2% sedangkan Afdeling III sebesar 32,7% sehingga persentase kolonisasinya termasuk kategori sedang. Sedangkan jumlah spora yang dijumpai pada tanah sekitar rhiosfer tanaman kelapa sawit Afdeling II berjumlah 20 DAN Afdeling III berjumlah 17. Sedangkan sifat kimia tanah yang diukur adalah kandungan P-tersedia dengan kategori sangat rendah.

Abstract

Analisis fitokimia dengan menggunakan Dragendroff, Wagner, Mayer terhadap tanaman  merupakan salah satu langkah dalam mengungkap potensi sumber daya tumbuhan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari tanaman Phillanthus niruri, Jatropha curcas,  Phillanthus acidus, Euphorbia hirta diketahui mengandung senyawa flavonoid, alkaliod, terpenoid, tanin dan saponin. Phillanthus niruri diketahui mengandung senyawa Alkaloid, Terpenoid dan Tanin. Tanaman  Jatropha curcas, diketahui mengandung senyawa Alkaloid saja. Tanaman Phillanthus acidus mengandung Flavonoid, Alkaloid, Tanin.  Tanaman Euphorbia hirta diketahui mengandung senyawa Flavonoid, Alkaloid, Tanin dan Saponin.
