Abstract

Learning activities are the primary means of achieving a learning goal in the classroom. In the learning process in the classroom, a professional teacher must master basic skills in teaching, especially skills in opening lessons. A teacher's ability to open lessons effectively will impact an effective learning process, motivating him to learn in class. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1). The level of teacher opening skills at MIN 9 Hulu Sungai Tengah; 2). The effect of teacher opening skills on student learning motivation at MIN 9 Hulu Sungai Tengah. This is a quantitative study, and the population of this study is all students at MIN 9 Hulu Sungai Tengah, a total of 183, with a sample of up to 26 students in class VI. The main method used is the questionnaire, while the supporting methods are observation and documentation. The results showed that the teacher's skill level in opening lessons was in the high category, with the largest presentation score of 57.7%. Meanwhile, the impact of the teacher's opening lesson skills on student learning motivation is significant. This can be shown by the t-count value of 28.718 and the t-table of 2.060, which have a sig level of 0.0000168, which means it is less than 0.05 or 5%. If sig 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, according to the test criteria. So, it can be concluded that the independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable, and the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the teacher's skill in opening lessons affects learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan psikologi pendidikan Islam sebagai cabang dari Psikologi Islam yang berusaha memahami pembentukan akhlakul karimah dapat dilakukan melalui usaha pengkajian psikologi pendidikan Islam. Psikologi Islam sendiri adalah hasil usaha dari semangat islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan, ketika psikologi Barat dengan segala filsafatnya yang bebas nilai tidak dapat menjelaskan dan menjawab fenomena kejiwaan manusia yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini. Pengembalian kepada tuntunan awal dan contoh kongkrit jayanya kebangkitan peradaban Islam, semestinya dikaji dalam berbagai aspek. Salah satunya adalah ilmu psikologi Islam yang membahas perkembangan fitrah manusia. Pengembangan fitrah manusia yang dapat dibentuk melalui pendidikan, sehingga akhlakul karimah ini akan terbentuk.

Abstract

Islam teaches about moral values, one of which is through God's chosen persons set out in history. This paper describes the method of telling the story of prophet`s companions as the delivery of a message of moral value in the comprehension of a story connected with the daily life of early childhood. The method used in this research is pre-experimental and post-test, data analysis used is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test z Score. This pre-experimental process found that not all R A teachers were able to tell the story of the Prophet's companions. Increasing the moral value of early childhood is influenced by the teacher's story telling method, especially about the story of the companions of the Prophet. The findings obtained from the results of this study The following is the added value of early childhood issued by the method taken by the teacher about the story of the companions of the Prophet, namely by comparing the results of the average score before and being prepared, namely the pre-test results of 155,7333 and post test of 190,22667. The statistical results of the hypothesis test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test Z obtained by -3,300> z table -1,645 with a P value (Asymp.Sig.2 tailed) of 0.001 which is smaller than the limitation of the study / level of research results <0.05, which means there is a significant improvement from the method of telling the story of the Companions of the Prophet to the increase in early childhood moral values ??in RA Al Mizan

Abstract

Building character in schools can be done well if teachers and educators understand the value of education. The understanding of educators in strengthening character education helps them design effective learning strategies and pay special attention to the development of student's character. This study aims to explain the extent to which teachers understand the implementation of strengthening character education in PAUD units with a qualitative approach. The strengthening of character education implemented in PAUD units is not going well due to the teacher's incomplete understanding of guidebooks from the Ministry of Education and Culture Directorate General of Early Childhood Education and Community Education Directorate of Early Childhood Education in 2019. This study founds that the subjects needed assistance in implementing a strengthening character education program in PAUD units.

Abstract

Majority of parents assumes that reading, writing, and counting as a child's literacy ability, therefore they measure the success of PAUD with the success of children being able to read or count in the early childhood. However, literacy is not limited to the ability to read, write and count, but also emergent literacy which refers to what children learn before they are able to read and write. Therefore, emergent literacy is the foundation for higher literacy skills including reading, writing and more complex language comprehension. The method used in this study is descriptive statistics, through filling out a Guttman scale containing 16 statements filled out by pre-school teachers/parents. The results obtained from this study is high score of emergent literacy due to the influence of active social interaction by children with their peers, and other adults, which proves that activeness in social interaction will further improve early childhood literacy.
