Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan melalui pelatihan teknik ecoprint hapazome bagi 25 siswa SMA Luqman Al Hakim Surabaya. Program ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya sebagai tim pelaksana. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan ecoprint, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Teknik yang diajarkan meliputi fermentasi daun untuk menghasilkan motif alami pada kain menggunakan bahan ramah lingkungan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap kepedulian lingkungan sebesar 90%, dan keterampilan pembuatan ecoprint mencapai rata-rata 88%. Siswa menghasilkan berbagai produk seperti tote bag dan kaos berbasis ecoprint. Kesimpulannya, program ini berhasil menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan sekaligus membuka peluang kewirausahaan. Direkomendasikan untuk memperluas cakupan pelatihan dengan variasi teknik ecoprint serta mempromosikan kesadaran lingkungan melalui kegiatan kompetisi dan pameran.  Building Environmental Awareness Through Hapazome Ecoprint Technique Training for Luqman Al Hakim Surabaya High School Students This program aimed to enhance environmental awareness through hapazome ecoprint technique training for 25 students of SMA Luqman Al Hakim Surabaya. The initiative involved lecturers and students from Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya as the implementation team. The method included socialization, ecoprint-making training, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. The taught techniques utilized leaf fermentation to create natural patterns on fabric using eco-friendly materials. Results showed a 90% improvement in students' environmental awareness and an average skill acquisition in ecoprint-making of 88%. Students produced various products, such as tote bags and T-shirts, using ecoprint methods. In conclusion, the program successfully instilled environmental care values while opening entrepreneurial opportunities. It is recommended to expand training coverage with diverse ecoprint techniques and promote environmental awareness through competitions and exhibitions.
