Desa Sungai Belidak merupakan salah satu desa dengan produksi buah musiman melimpah seperti pisang, langsat, dan durian, yang menyebabkan limbah buah-buahan selama musim panen. Limbah ini, bersama dengan sampah dari Pondok Pesantren Darul Fikri, menciptakan masalah lingkungan seperti bau tak sedap dan penurunan estetika. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan sampah organik di Desa Sungai Belidak dengan memanfaatkan Black Soldier Fly (BSF) atau larva lalat hitam (maggot). Maggot BSF dikenal efektif mengonversi limbah organik menjadi pupuk dan pakan ternak. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dengan melibatkan sebanyak 30 santri dalam pelatihan budidaya maggot BSF dan penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p value=0,000) dalam pengetahuan (67,5% dan sikap (31,1%) santri terhadap pengelolaan sampah setelah pelatihan. Budidaya maggot BSF tidak hanya mengurangi sampah organik, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat melalui penjualan pupuk organik dan pakan ternak. Dengan pendampingan berkelanjutan, program ini diharapkan menjadi solusi berkelanjutan dalam pengelolaan sampah di Ponpes Darul Fikri. Community Empowerment Through Cultivation of BSF Maggots (Black Soldier Fly) in Organic Waste Processing at Ponpes Darul Fikri Village Sungai Belidak Sungai Belidak Village is one of the villages with abundant seasonal fruit production such as bananas, langsat and durian, which causes fruit waste during the harvest season. This waste, together with waste from the Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School, creates environmental problems such as unpleasant odors and aesthetic degradation. This research aims to overcome the problem of organic waste management in Sungai Belidak Village by utilizing Black Soldier Fly (BSF) or black fly larvae (maggot). BSF Maggot is known to be effective in converting organic waste into fertilizer and animal feed. The approach used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) by involving students in training on BSF maggot cultivation and implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). The results showed a significant (p value=0,000) increase in students' knowledge (67,5%) and attitudes (31,1%) towards waste management after the training. BSF maggot cultivation not only reduces organic waste, but also has the potential to increase the community's economic income through the sale of organic fertilizer and animal feed. With ongoing assistance, this program is expected to become a sustainable solution in waste management at the Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School.
