Abstract

Abstrak. Kesulitan belajar merupakan permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa. Penanganan permasalahan kesulitan belajar siswa menjadi tugas dan tanggung jawab guru bimbingan konseling beserta personel sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penanganan yang dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan konseling dan personel sekolah dalam mengatasi permasalahan belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 1 NA IX-X dan guru bimbingan konseling dengan melakukan penelitian membagi subjek dalam 2 kelompok, kelompok 1 diberikan perlakuan dan kelompok 2 tanpa perlakuan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tahapan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui beberapa tahapan, (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data dan (3) penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa dalam mengatasi permasalahan kesulitan belajar konselor dan guru mata pelajaran bekerja sama dan berkolaborasi demi mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah dalam membantu mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa. Handling the problem of student learning difficulties is the duty and responsibility of the guidance and counseling teacher and school personnel. This study aims to find out how the handling is carried out by counseling teachers and school personnel in overcoming student learning problems. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were students of State Junior High School 1 NA IX-X and guidance and counseling teachers. By conducting the research, dividing the subjects into 2 groups, group 1 was given treatment and group 2 was without treatment. Data collection techniques were carried out through the stages of interview, observation and documentation. The results obtained were analyzed through several stages, (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation and (3) assessment. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that in overcoming the problem of learning difficulties counselors and subject teachers work together and collaborate in order to realize the school's vision and mission in helping overcome student learning difficulties.
