<![CDATA[Inpatient services are one of the services that influence the level of efficiency. An indicator that influences the level of efficiency is the Barber Johnson chart. In 2020-2022 at Prasetya Bunda General Hospital there will be a change in the number of beds from year to year. This study aimed to analyze the efficiency of inpatient bed use based on the Barber Johnson chart and the quality of service at Prasetya Bunda General Hospital. The research methodology used was a descriptive quantitative study. Respondents were selected using total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation and interviews; then analyzed descriptively. The research results showed that the indicator values for hospitalization in 2020 are BOR = 27.5%, AvLOS = 2 days, TOI = 6 days, BTO = 46 times; in 2021, BOR = 33.1%, AvLOS = 2 days, TOI = 5 days, BTO = 54 times; and in 2022, BOR = 39.8%, AvLOS = 3 days, TOI = 3 days, BTO = 66 times. It was concluded that the use of beds according to the Barber Johnson graph had not yet reached efficient standards, although there was an increase every year. It is hoped that hospitals can allocate beds more appropriately along with efforts to promote service quality.Key words: hospital; inpatient room; efficiency; Barber Johnson charts; service quality ABSTRAK Pelayanan rawat inap merupakan salah satu pelayanan yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat efisiensi. Indikator yang mempengaruhi tingkat efisiensi adalah grafik Barber Johnson. Pada tahun 2020-2022 di Rumah sakit Umum Prasetya Bunda terjadi perubahan jumlah tempat tidur dari tahun ke tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi penggunaan tempat tidur ruang rawat inap berdasarkan grafik Barber Johnson serta mutu pelayanan di Rumah Sakit Umum Prasetya Bunda. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Peingumpulan data dilakukan deingan cara obseirvasi, dokumeintasi, dan wawancara; lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai indikator rawat inap tahun 2020 yaitu BOR = 27,5%, AvLOS = 2 hari, TOI = 6 hari, BTO = 46 kali; pada tahun 2021, BOR = 33,1%, AvLOS = 2 hari, TOI = 5 hari, BTO = 54 kali; dan pada tTahun 2022, BOR = 39,8%, AvLOS = 3 hari, TOI = 3 hari, BTO = 66 kali. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tempat tidur menurut grafik Barber Johnson belum mencapai standar efisien, meskipun terdapat peningkatan tiap tahunnya.
