Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the Quran memorization program at Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Medan. Utilizing qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model to explore how the boarding school designs and implements its Quran memorization program. The findings indicate that Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School has a well-structured Quran memorization program. The principal plays a crucial role in designing the program and providing guidance to teachers. Furthermore, the teachers at the school are creative in employing various teaching methods to maintain student engagement and prevent boredom. Additionally, the boarding school has a clear assessment system to track and measure student progress.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of information technology on education. This research is a literature study which is a type of qualitative research. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman analysis model, namely collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that information technology is man-made to help make it easier for humans to find and receive information, especially in the world of education. The benefits that can be felt with the existence of information technology are as follows: (1) To facilitate activities in school management; (2) As a medium of information in learning; (3) Assist and support development.
