This study conducts a comparative analysis of the transformation of Christian education approaches from the Early Church era, through the Protestant Reformation period, to the Contemporary era. Using a qualitative historical-comparative approach and content analysis techniques, the study examines secondary sources including historical church documents, writings of Reformation figures, and contemporary literature on Christian education. The analysis focuses on educational goals, teaching methods, the role of educators, and responses to social and cultural challenges in each period. The findings reveal that early Christian education emphasized a holistic and participatory approach within church and family communities. During the Reformation, the approach shifted towards biblical literacy and the integration of moral-intellectual values influenced by Christian humanism. In the contemporary era, Christian education faces challenges such as secularism and digital disruption, requiring a transformative, contextual, and holistic approach. This study highlights the importance of adapting educational approaches to the contextual realities of each era without compromising the primary goal of holistic faith formation. The findings provide valuable insights for developing relevant and effective Christian education practices that nurture faithful and critical younger generations.
