Abstract

Campus community radio in Surabaya over the past 20 years has thrived. This study discusses the existence of campus community radio in Surabaya which is incorporated in the Surabaya Campus Radio (RKS) forum in the era of media convergence. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study have revealed that the existence of campus radio in Surabaya is more widely used for developing interests, talents, and training in broadcasting or for laboratory purposes. Many campus radio broadcasts use streaming technology via the internet and as content service providers or over the top. Meanwhile, the migration of frequency-based analogue radio to digital or streaming platforms, as a solution to limitations of frequency, in terms of broadcast program aspects, is feasible for migration. This is because through broadcast programs owned by campus community radio will be more competitive, because the digital techniques can encourage the growth of convergence which is beneficial for audiences not only to listen but they are also able to interact and discuss with topics as well as express opinions, so that they can meaningfully contribute to the programming

Abstract

In Islam, doing good to anyone is ordered, because whoever wants to do good, is one of the lucky ones. This good deed includes amar ma'ruf which will have an impact on positive values and bring benefit both in this world and the hereafter. One of them is that we are encouraged to care for orphans and dhua'fa (weak economic groups), anyone who cares about this group apart from the rewards he gets will get great benefits. This research will analyze how the Fundraising Strategy for Orphans and Dhu'afa is carried out by the Yabara Foundation Sidoarjo, a foundation that cares for and often supports orphans and the du'afa. Through routine quarterly programs and annual Muharram moments, fundraising activities are driven by involving the community. The subject of this research is the Babussalam Bhayangkara Foundation (Yabara Foundation) Sidoarjo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with primary and secondary research sources. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that the fundraising strategy analysis was carried out in two ways 1). Mobilizing instrument fundraisers from foundation institutions that are in contact with residents 2) applying direct or indirect indicators. The result can be felt by the weak, especially orphans and the du'afa with a reduced economic burden that must be borne

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) in the last 15 years has made people aware of digital technology is importance in life. However, the impact of this technology has created an "information tsunami" on a large scale, even an explosion of information explosions (information explosions) at any time. It spreads widely without knowing boundaries, space and time, so that people often get confused about which information is correct and which is false. Hoax, which one can educate and which one plunges. This research wants to explore the urgency of digital media literacy in dealing with the flood of information amidst the ongoing digital disruption. Media and digital literacy can be used as an approach that focuses on critically analyzing media content and the right way to behave. When the Internet presented a variety of new media platforms, the era of media convergence occurred; literacy is very important for society because it can be a guide (guide) in behaving, including selecting and analyzing any information received from digital media. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method, using a literature study method, because this research is intended to explore the phenomenon of the development of digital literacy as one of the new challenges in today's era. This article is intended to provide an understanding of digital literacy, so it is hoped that it can be useful as a contribution to knowledge about community empowerment in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the relationship between Islamic asceticism, the internalization of spiritual values, psychological motivation, and the entrepreneurial behavior of students at Roudhotul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School, Mojokerto. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and focus group discussions (FGDs) involving eight informants. The findings reveal that the practice of Islamic asceticism through dhikr, wirid, voluntary prayers, and the internalization of values such as sincerity (ikhlas), patience (sabr), trust in God (tawakkul), steadfastness (istiqamah), asceticism (zuhud), and gratitude (shukr) fosters a spiritually grounded work ethic among students engaged in aquaculture activities. Entrepreneurial activities are understood not merely as economic endeavors but also as a form of da'wah bil hal (preaching through action) and tazkiyat al-nafs (spiritual purification), cultivating discipline, mental resilience, honesty, and social responsibility. Business setbacks are interpreted as opportunities for muhasabah (self-reflection) and spiritual learning, strengthening the character of resilient entrepreneurs. This study proposes a Sufism-based entrepreneurship model grounded in the psychology of da'wah, linking Islamic asceticism, spiritual motivation, and entrepreneurial behavior while reinforcing the paradigm of transformative da'wah through productive spirituality.

Abstract

This study explains the form of acculturation of Islamic values in the Barong Ider Bumi tradition in Kemiren Village, Banyuwangi. The Barong tradition was initially strong with animistic values, but Islam is dialectic which makes this tradition undergo an adjustment in meaning and value. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The results of the research show that the acculturation of Islamic values in the Barong tradition can be seen in its rituals with Islamic nuances, the transformation of the meaning of earth alms as a pious deed, and Barong as a mystical symbol to be religious. The values of cultural da'wah are manifested through the involvement of religious leaders in directing the spirituality of the community to remain in accordance with the teachings of monotheism.
