Abstract

Abstrak. Suatu berita tentu saja menggunakan media bahasa sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi kepada pembacanya. Bahasa selalu diungkapkan dalam konteks, tak terkecuali bahasa dalam berita. Rustono (1999) menyebutkan konteks adalah sesuatu yang menjadi sarana penjelas suatu maksud. Dulu untuk mendapatkan sebuah informasi terutama berita, kita perlu membeli sebuah media cetak seperti koran. Tetapi, seiring perkembangan teknologi kita bisa dengan mudah mengaksesnya melalui website atau situs internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan konteks yang terdapat dalam berita daring mengenai covid 19 yang ada di portal  Detik.com dan 2) mengetahui rancangan bahan ajar mata kuliah Wacana Bahasa Indonesia.Kata kunci: konteks, berita daring, covid-19, bahan ajar, wacana

Abstract

The novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye is one of the novels that has many readers in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the structure and educational values in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. This research uses qualitative method. The data in this study are in the form of sentences in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. The data source in this research is Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. The result of this research shows that Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye has an intact structure as a novel. The structure includes theme, plot, characterisation, setting, language style, point of view, and mandate. Furthermore, the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye also contains educational values such as the value of loving the environment, honest value, empathy value, responsibility value, courage value, and critical thinking value. Thus, the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye can be used as an alternative teaching material in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze language errors in writing news on the Indramayu Update Instagram account for the period March to April 2025. Social media, especially Instagram, is one of the platforms used to disseminate information quickly and widely. However, sometimes language errors in writing can affect the understanding and credibility of the news. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis by identifying the types of language errors contained in the news text posted on the Instagram account. The language errors analyzed include spelling errors, punctuation, sentence structure, and incorrect use of words. Data were obtained by collecting news posts uploaded within a predetermined time period, then identifying and analyzing the language errors that appeared. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of the quality of news writing on social media and the importance of good language understanding and skills in conveying information
