Abstract

Abstrak: Program agroschooling adalah upaya pengenalan dan edukasi pertanian sejak dini yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan, kemampuan dan metode yang menarik sehingga menciptakan ketertarikan generasi muda terhadap pembangunan pertanian di masa depan. Sektor pertanian merupakan sektor primer di Kabupaten Manggarai Barat sehingga regenerasi pertanian sangat dibutuhkan guna yang mendukung pembangunan. SDK Nunang terletak di daerah potensial sektor pertanian sehingga pelaksanaan PkM agroschooling merupakan upaya guna meningkatkan animo siswa kelas 3, 4 dan 5 melalui model pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial, dengan pertimbangan bahwa siswa telah mampu berpikir kritis. Metode pelakasankan yaitu sosialisasi dan praktikum menanam bersama para siswa. Pelaksanaan program agroschooling juga disertakan pre-test dan post-test melalui kuesioner yang telah disediakan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan menanggapi materi yang disampaikan. Setelah dilaksanakan PkM Agroschooling dilakukan evaluasi melalui observasi langsung untuk melihat keberlanjutan tanaman hasil praktikum. Hasil pre-test sebesar 2,61 sedangkan post-test terhadap persepsi para siswa SDK Nunang tergolong dalam kategori baik dengan nilai skor 4,67.Abstract: The agroschooling program is an effort to introduce and educate agriculture from an early age which is tailored to needs, abilities and interesting methods so as to create interest in the younger generation in agricultural development in the future. The agricultural sector is the primary sector in West Manggarai Regency, so agricultural regeneration is very much needed to support development. SDK Nunang is located in a potential area for the agricultural sector, so the implementation of PkM agroschooling is an effort to increase the interest of students in grades 3, 4 and 5 through an interactive learning model in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, taking into account that students are able to think critically. The implementation method is socialization and planting practice with students. The implementation of the agroschooling program also includes a pre-test and post-test through a questionnaire that has been provided to measure students' ability to understand and respond to the material presented. After implementing PkM Agroschooling, an evaluation was carried out through direct observation to see the sustainability of the practicum plants. The pre-test result was 2.61, while the post-test on the perceptions of SDK Nunang students was classified in the good category with a score of 4.67.
