Abstract

This study investigates the influence of free shipping, customer reviews, and cashback on purchasing decisions in marketplace platforms. The results demonstrate that free shipping significantly enhances consumer willingness to complete transactions because it removes additional costs and creates a perception of greater efficiency and value. Customer reviews play an essential role in shaping purchasing confidence by providing direct insights into product quality, helping reduce uncertainty, and guiding consumers toward more assured decisions. Cashback contributes to purchase motivation by offering immediate financial benefits, making each transaction feel more rewarding and encouraging stronger buying intentions. When examined collectively, the three variables show a more substantial impact than when analyzed individually, as their combined effect strengthens consumer trust, reduces decision-making barriers, and increases the perceived attractiveness of the purchase. These findings indicate that integrating cost-saving incentives, credible information, and financial rewards can effectively enhance marketplace competitiveness and improve consumer purchasing behavior.

Abstract

The increasing dominance of experiential tourism has transformed destination branding from a symbolic identity tool into a dynamic mechanism for fostering sustained tourist engagement. Despite growing scholarly attention, limited empirical clarity remains regarding how experiential destination branding translates into behavioral, relational, and governance-related outcomes through tourist engagement. This study adopts an empirical, quantitative research design to examine the relationships among experiential destination branding, tourist engagement, and downstream behavioral and sustainability outcomes. Data were collected from domestic and international tourists who visited experience-oriented destinations within the previous twelve months using a structured questionnaire, and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling to assess both measurement and structural relationships. The findings demonstrate that experiential destination branding exerts a strong positive effect on tourist engagement, which mediates the influence of branding on satisfaction, revisit intention, advocacy behavior, and participatory practices. The results further reveal that engaged tourists exhibit heightened sustainability awareness and greater support for destination governance initiatives, indicating that engagement functions as a soft governance mechanism alongside market-oriented outcomes. The study contributes to tourism management literature by empirically positioning tourist engagement as a relational bridge connecting experiential branding, behavioral value creation, and sustainable destination development in the contemporary tourism landscape.

Abstract

The evolution of international human rights norms represents a dynamic intersection of law, policy, and institutional practice, wherein the United Nations serves as both norm-maker and supervisory authority. This doctrinal study examines primary and secondary legal sources, including treaties, optional protocols, General Assembly resolutions, Human Rights Council outputs, and treaty body interpretations, alongside scholarly monographs and travaux préparatoires, to trace the historical development and thematic expansion of human rights obligations. Employing textual, contextual, and teleological interpretation pursuant to Articles 31 and 32 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, the research identifies patterns of continuity, modification, and normative innovation, highlighting the integration of emerging domains such as climate justice, corporate accountability, refugee protection, mental healthcare, and gender equality. The study further analyzes supervisory mechanisms, interpretative guidance, and cross-instrument harmonization that reinforce legal coherence and operational legitimacy. Findings indicate that thematic expansion, coupled with institutional oversight, consolidates the UN human rights framework while accommodating contemporary global challenges. This research contributes both theoretically and methodologically by providing a systematic, normatively grounded account of the evolution, integration, and practical relevance of United Nations human rights norms.
