Abstract

This study examines the impact of the "Gemar Menabung dengan Celengan Kreatif" program on enhancing financial literacy and saving habits among elementary school children in rural areas. The program integrates creativity with financial education by involving students in hands-on activities, such as creating piggy banks from recycled bottles. The aim was to foster an understanding of saving and financial management while also raising environmental awareness. Using a combination of pre-test and post-test assessments, as well as qualitative methods like interviews and observations, the study evaluates the effectiveness of this creative educational approach. The results demonstrate significant improvements in the children’s understanding of financial concepts, with increased motivation to save. The hands-on nature of the activities led to higher engagement, and students showed a greater understanding of the link between money management and their daily lives. Additionally, the creative aspect of the program contributed to increased environmental consciousness. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting the effectiveness of integrating financial literacy with creative projects in rural education. The findings suggest that similar programs could be scaled up in other rural areas, providing valuable insights for further research on long-term behavioral changes and the role of community involvement in financial education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of CO₂ Emissions, Cash Holding, and Leverage on investment decisions in mining sector companies in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data analysis method applied is panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model. The results show that partially, CO₂ Emissions and Leverage do not have a significant effect on investment decisions, while Cash Holding has a negative and significant effect on investment decisions. This indicates that companies tend to retain cash as a precautionary measure against uncertainty, thereby reducing investment realization. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant effect on investment decisions. These findings suggest that internal financial factors remain the primary consideration compared to environmental factors in investment decision-making within the mining sector in Indonesia. This study is expected to contribute to the existing literature and provide insights for management and investors in determining optimal investment strategies.

Abstract

This study maps the intellectual landscape of decision-making models within the bounded rationality framework, specifically as it applies to financial management research. A systematic bibliometric analysis was conducted on publications retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science, covering the period from the 2000 to 2026 and analyzed using VOSviewer software.Publication trends exhibit a fluctuating yet upward trajectory concentrated in the most recent period, while inter-author and inter-country collaboration networks remain underdeveloped. Keyword co-occurrence analysis identifies bounded rationality as the conceptual core of the field, with visible thematic evolution from formal decision theory toward behavioral finance and artificial intelligence integration.Financial practitioners and policymakers should incorporate behavioral and cognitive constraints into decision-support frameworks, particularly in investment and risk management contexts. This paper contributes a systematic cartography of bounded rationality scholarship in financial management, identifying understudied themes and open directions for future research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and price on the purchasing decisions of Kopi Kenangan consumers in Samarinda City. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. Data were collected through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to 100 respondents selected via purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis, preceded by classical assumption tests including normality and multicollinearity tests using SPSS. The results of the classical assumption test showed that the residual data were normally distributed (Monte Carlo Sig. = 0.490) and free from multicollinearity. The partial hypothesis test (t-test) revealed a surprising finding: brand image had no significant effect on purchasing decisions (Sig. = 0.332). Conversely, price exerted a positive and highly significant effect on purchasing decisions (Sig. < 0.001) and acted as the dominant driver. Simultaneously (F-test), brand image and price significantly influenced purchasing decisions (Sig. < 0.001) with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.401. This study concludes that for the undergraduate student segment, economic rationality regarding price overrides brand prestige when making purchasing decisions.
