<![CDATA[ Pendidikan merupakan hal krusial bagi generasi mendatang. Namun kenyataannya, kemampuan pemerintah tidak sebanding dengan masalah bagaimana memeratakan pendidikan ke seluruh Indonesia. Akibatnya, ada saja sekolah yang kekurangan siswa akibat kurangnya promosi. Salah satu sekolah yang memiliki masalah tersebut adalah SMK PGRI 2 Surakarta. Setelah hampir 30 tahun berdiri, SMK tersebut masih memiliki akreditasi C dan jumlah siswa yang stagnan di angka 80 siswa. Ditambah dengan animo masyarakat yang mengganggap akreditasi menentukan kualitas sekolah. Oleh sebab itu, dibuatlah website SMK PGRI 2 Surakarta dan SIA (Sistem Informasi Akademik) yang bertujuan untuk mempublikasikan SMK tersebut ke masyarakat luas. Dengan hal ini, warga dari SMK PGRI 2 Surakarta diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan teknologi dengan tepat, selain itu masyarakat juga lebih banyak mengenal SMK PGRI 2 Surakarta dan membuat akses informasi ke SMK tersebut lebih mudah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model user satisfaction. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa website yang akan diberikan kepada SMK PGRI 2 Surakarta, yang nantinya akan tetap dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi. Kesimpulannya adalah melakukan penerapan website yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat umum, sehingga dapat meningkatan jumlah siswa. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Website, Pendidikan, Publikasi, SMK PGRI 2 Surakarta ABSTRACTEducation is crucial for future generations.
