Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the environment on students’ learning motivation. The learning environment is an important factor that can affect the level of motivation and academic success of students. This study uses a literature study approach by analyzing various journals, articles, and books that are relevant to the influence of the environment on learning motivation. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative analysis, by collecting and summarizing the results of previous studies that discuss environmental factors, such as family, school, and social environments, which can affect learning motivation. The results of the study indicate that a supportive environment, both in terms of physical, social, and emotional, has a positive impact on increasing student learning motivation. Conversely, an unconducive environment can reduce motivation and potentially hinder the student learning process. This study concludes that the role of the environment is very significant in shaping and increasing student learning motivation, so it is important for educators and parents to create an environment that supports the development of children’s learning motivation.
