Abstract

The notion of reaction speed can also be said to be the ability to carry out similar movements in a row in a very short time. The purpose of this research is to find out how big the contribution of reaction speed to some movements is to the ability of sports athletes. This type of research is descriptive qualitative narrative. In conclusion, the contribution of relative reaction speed depends on the sport and the conditions of the place used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge of swimming coaches about sports psychology with the achievement of swimming athletes. The research method is quantitative with a correlation approach. The data analysis technique in this study used the Pearson product moment partial correlation analysis technique. The conclusion is that there is a very significant positive relationship between the knowledge of swimming coaches about sports psychology and the achievement of swimming athletes.
