Abstract

Branding plays an important role in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs, especially in the food industry. However, many MSMEs, including Etawa goat milk businesses, do not yet have a strong visual identity. This service aims to design a logo that matches the characteristics of Etawa goat milk products and evaluate its impact on consumer appeal. Using a mixed-method approach, this Service applies thematic analysis to understand MSME owners' preferences for branding and logo design, as well as quantitative analysis to measure consumer visual perception through a Likert scale (1-5). The results of the Service show that MSME owners have a primary preference for a circular logo that can be easily attached to the packaging bottle. In addition, owners prefer striking colors and adding additional elements such as slogans and telephone numbers. The visual perception test conducted on 40 respondents showed that the visual appeal aspect obtained an average score of 4.3/5, readability 4.3/5, and relevance to the product 4.4/5. The conclusion of this Service confirms that a logo designed in a participatory manner can improve MSME branding more effectively. As a recommendation, MSMEs are advised to not only use logos as visual identities but also integrate them into digital marketing strategies to be more competitive in the market.

Abstract

The ecological approach enables a more holistic understanding of connectedness as an emergent phenomenon arising from interacting various elements in the language learning ecosystem. This article explores the dimensions of connectedness in Arabic language learning through the perspective of learning ecology. Using data from a case study at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo, Indonesia, this research analyzes how complex interactions between learners, teachers, environment, and language form a dynamic learning ecosystem. Through a mixed methods methodology, the study identifies four main dimensions of connectedness: interpersonal connectedness, contextual connectedness, conceptual connectedness, and spiritual-cultural connectedness. The results show that learning ecosystems rich in connectedness correlate positively with improved Arabic language competence (r = 0.74, p 0.01) and developing a more integrated linguistic identity. This article proposes an "Ecology of Connectedness" model that emphasizes connectedness's dynamic, contextual, and emergent nature in Arabic language learning. This model offers a new theoretical framework to help Arabic language educators design learning environments that facilitate various forms of connectedness and support sustainable language development. The implications of this research extend the understanding of Arabic language learning beyond traditional cognitive-individual approaches toward a perspective that recognizes the central role of connectedness in language learning ecology.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the beauty of rhetorical style in the Makkiyah verses, focusing specifically on Surah Adh-Dhuha through the lens of balaghah, including the branches of ma‘ani, bayan, and badi’. The significance of this research lies in the way Surah Adh-Dhuha employs powerful rhetorical techniques to convey inner peace and divine reassurance to the Prophet Muhammad (ṣallallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) during the early stage of his prophethood. Surah Adh-Dhuha was selected because of its strong emotional tone, aesthetic richness, and its role in comforting the Prophet during periods of distress. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method using textual analysis. The research process involved close reading and linguistic examination of the verses to uncover the layered rhetorical structures embedded in the surah. The findings reveal several rhetorical devices—such as tashbih, isti‘arah, tibaq, jinās, repetition, and muraṣṣa‘—that enhance both the spiritual and communicative power of the message. The surah also presents values of resilience and psychological reinforcement that remain relevant in contemporary contexts. The novelty of this research lies in its combined use of classical balaghah and modern stylistic perspectives to provide a more integrated analysis of Surah Adh-Dhuha, an approach that has not been extensively applied in previous studies. This study reaffirms the Qur’an’s status as an unparalleled linguistic and spiritual miracle, demonstrating how divine speech engages human emotion with exceptional eloquence and depth.
