<![CDATA[ The K-Pop phenomenon, especially the boy group NCT, has brought significant influence on the preferences of choosing a life partner among its fans. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and images of K-Pop idols forming standards in choosing a partner and to examine the Islamic perspective on the criteria for a life partner. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey method and semi-structured interviews to explore the experience of choosing a life partner from the perspective of NCT fans. Data were collected from 18 unmarried NCT fans aged 20–30 years through a purposive sampling technique. This research found that the majority of respondents were influenced by the personality, physical attractiveness and positive values shown by NCT members in determining the standards of a life partner. However, even though the standards set tend to be high, the majority of respondents still consider religious and moral values in the process of selecting a partner. The results of this research confirm that popular culture such as K-Pop has an impact on individual preferences in finding a partner, but this influence can be balanced by deep values, such as religion and morals. Abstrak Fenomena K-Pop, khususnya boy group NCT, telah membawa pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan hidup di kalangan penggemarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis karakteristik dan citra idola K-Pop membentuk standar dalam memilih pasangan serta mengkaji perspektif islam mengenai kriteria pasangan hidup. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan wawancara semi-terstruktur untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman pemilihan pasangan hidup dari perspektif penggemar NCT. Data dikumpulkan dari 18 penggemar NCT berusia 20–30 tahun yang belum menikah melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa mayoritas responden terpengaruh oleh kepribadian, daya tarik fisik, dan nilai-nilai positif yang ditunjukkan oleh anggota NCT dalam menentukan standar pasangan hidup. Namun, meskipun standar yang ditetapkan cenderung tinggi, sebagian besar responden tetap mempertimbangkan nilai-nilai agama dan moral dalam proses pemilihan pasangan. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa budaya populer seperti K Pop memiliki dampak terhadap preferensi individu dalam mencari pasangan, tetapi pengaruh ini dapat diseimbangkan dengan nilai-nilai yang mendalam, seperti agama dan akhlak.
