Abstract

This journal explores the relationship between Confucian teachings and traditional Chinese sports, specifically Taijiquan (Tai Chi), archery, and Wushu. The study examines how Confucian principles such as balance, self-discipline, and moral character development are reflected in these sports practices. Taijiquan combines physical movements with meditation to achieve harmony between body and mind. Archery is used as a tool to develop virtues like patience and self-control. Wushu emphasizes the importance of ethics and spiritual development. A literature review method was used to analyze relevant sources, showing that traditional Chinese sports not only improve physical health but also play a crucial role in the development of moral and spiritual character. The integration of Confucian teachings into traditional Chinese sports can significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of life in society through moral development, balance, and discipline.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah:(1) untuk mengetahui cara meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dalam materi Pembinaan Diri Kelas XI di SMK Eka Wijaya Bogor tahun pelajaran 2023/2024,(2) untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi Pembinaan Diri Kelas XI di SMK Eka Wijaya Bogor tahun pelajaran 2023/2024, (3) untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Pembinaan Diri Kelas XI di SMK Eka Wijaya Bogor tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI khususnya yang beragama Khonghucu di SMK Eka Wijaya Bogor. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, dan analisis hasil observasi siswa. Hasil penelitian pelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) motivasi belajar siswa siklus I, 1 siswa memiliki motivasi rendah (7%), 10 siswa memiliki motivasi sedang (66%)  dan 4 peserta didik memiliki motivasi tinggi (27%) nilai rata-rata 65,8 kategori sedang, (2) hasil belajar pada siklus I dari 15 siswa mendapatkan nilai tuntas (100%), nilai rata-rata 86,2, (3) motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus II 10 siswa memiliki motivasi sangat tinggi (67%) dan 5 siswa  memiliki motivasi tinggi (33%) nilai rata-rata 87 kategori sangat tinggi, (4) Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan juga pada siklus II dari 15 siswa mendapatkan hasil belajar yang tuntas (100%), nilai rata-rata 90,8.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of President KH. Abdurrahman Wahid in restoring the legal rights of Confucian adherents in Indonesia during the period 1999-2001. During the New Order era, Confucian adherents faced systematic discrimination that impacted various aspects of their lives, including education, civil registration, and freedom of worship. Through policies implemented by Gus Dur, such as the revocation of Presidential Instruction No. 14 of 1967 and the re-recognition of Confucianism as an official religion, this discrimination was successfully ended. The impact of these policies has been profoundly positive, providing freedom of worship, cultural recognition, and the restoration of civil rights for Confucian adherents. These policies also strengthened pluralism and religious tolerance in Indonesia.
