Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job enrichment and job enlargement on career development with the mediation of organizational commitment in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Madura Branch. The sample used in the study was 35 employees as respondents. This study uses a non-probability sampling method, namely saturation sampling technique. The research data were collected through surveys using structured questionnaires and analyzed using SMARTPLS 4.0. The results showed that all independent variables, namely job enlargement (X1) and job enrichment (X2) had a positive and significant effect on career development (Y) through organizational commitment (Z) as a moderating variable (p<0.05). The result of the adjusted R-squared value of the Career Development variable is 0.078, or this value explains that the Job enlargement and Job enrichment variables affect career development by 7.8%, while 92.2% of career development is explained by other variables outside this research model.
