Abstract

This research analyzes goods delivery transportation methods at JNT Aek Nabara, North Sumatra, with a focus on cost efficiency and service quality. The three types of services analyzed are Sure Tomorrow Arrive (YES), Regular (REG), and OKE. The analysis methods used, including North West Corner (NWC), Least Cost, and Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM), show potential cost savings of up to 15%. Additionally, sensitivity analysis reveals that large changes in distribution parameters can affect overall delivery efficiency. This research concludes that choosing the right transportation method is very important to increase efficiency and recommends regular evaluation of distribution strategies based on real-time data to meet customer expectations.

Abstract

The Children's Festival is one of the main programs of the Community Service (KKN) conducted by Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) in Aek Kota Batu Village. This activity aims to foster achievement, creativity, and Islamic values among the younger generation through non-formal activities that are both educational and recreational. The implementation method used a participatory approach by involving the community, schools, religious leaders, and local youth. The festival was held for two days: on August 23, 2025, featuring Qur'an Recitation (Tartil) and Juz 'Amma Memorization competitions, and on August 24, 2025, featuring Coloring, Fashion Show, Religious Speech, and Adhan competitions. The event was attended by 85 participants from kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels. The activities were lively and well-received by the community despite challenges such as rainy weather. Overall, the Children's Festival successfully enhanced children's self-confidence, sportsmanship, and provided a platform for them to express their talents and creativity.

Abstract

This study This study aims to examine the relationship between the provisions of Law Number 3 of 2020 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining (Minerba Law) and Government Regulation Number 25 of 2024, specifically regarding the mechanism for granting Special Mining Business Permit Areas (WIUPK) to religious-based community organizations. The Minerba Law explicitly prioritizes granting IUPK to State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), while private businesses can only obtain IUPK through an auction process. However, Article 83A of Government Regulation Number 25 of 2024 gives priority to business entities owned by religious organizations without an auction mechanism, even though legally these businesses are still classified as private businesses in accordance with the provisions of the Limited Liability Company Law. This provision creates regulatory disharmony that has the potential to create legal uncertainty and inequality in mining governance. This study uses a normative legal method with a statutory and conceptual approach. Preliminary findings indicate that Government Regulation No. 25 of 2024 violates the principle of lex superior derogat legi inferiori, which states that lower-level regulations must not deviate from higher-level regulations in the national legal hierarchy. Therefore, a revision of the Mineral and Coal Mining Law is needed to provide a clear and consistent legal basis, as well as strengthening the oversight system for community-owned business entities to ensure transparent, accountable, and sustainable governance practices in accordance with good governance.

Abstract

The reseach aims to find out how the basis for the judge's consideration in deciding the polygamous marriage isbat determination case No. 51/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Kdg, where the decision is not in accordance with SEMA Number 3/2018 which states that "Isbat polygamous marriage based on irri marriage, even though it is intended to fulfill the interests of children, must be declared unacceptable. Meanwhile, related to children, it can be submitted through an application for the origin of the child ". The type of research is research with a normative juridical approach using legislation and literature. The primary data source of this research is the Religious Court Decision 51/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Kdg. The results of this study indicate that there are still judges who do not implement Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2018 which clearly prohibits polygamous marriage isbat for any reason. However, when viewed in the realm of Maqashid Shari'ah, polygamous marriage isbat is not a forbidden thing because it contains several benefits and will give birth to many disadvantages if it is not allowed.
