Abstract

RUGAYAH & SUNARTI, S. 2017. The genus Lasianthus (Rubiaceae) in Wawonii Island, Sountheast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Reinwardtia 16 (2): 97–101. — Recent botanical excursions carried out at Wawonii island, Southeast Sula-wesi yielded two Lasianthus novelties distinct from other Lasianthus species enumerated for Sulawesi. These two new species are described here as Lasianthus wawoniiensis Rugayah & Sunarti and L. macrobracteatus Rugayah & Sunarti. Descriptions and illustrations of the two new species are provided, including an identification key to all Lasianthus species occurring in the area.

Abstract

SUNARTI, S. 2020. Syzygium tinombalum (Myrtaceae), a new species from Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Reinwardtia 19(2): 87‒91. ‒‒ Syzygium tinombalum Sunarti spec. nov. proposed as a new species from Central Sulawesi. Syzygium balgooyi and S. schumannianum are considered as the most closely related to Syzygium tinombalum. A full description of this species is given.

Abstract

Reinwardtia 12(4): 325 – 331. — Based on living collections cultivated in Bogor Botanical Gardens and several herbarium specimens kept in Herbarium Bogoriense, Averrhoa dolichocarpa Rugayah & Sunarti (from New Guinea) and A. leucopetala Rugayah & Sunarti (from North Sulawesi) are described as new species. They are compared with A. carambola L. and A. bilimbi L. the only other known species so far.
